We had our wedding at the Homestead on the most beautiful September afternoon. The staff was extraordinarily professional and hardworking, the grounds beautiful, the venue quaint and fun, and the overall experience excellent. The venue worked with us on all issues that arose, and ended up being one of our most responsive vendors from our wedding. The weather ended up being gorgeous, if hot, although we had a tent as a back-up. Our guests did end up outside because the hall got a bit warm (and the fans couldn't keep up), but everyone had a wonderful time, enjoying lawn games and being outdoors on such a beautiful day. We loved the venue and the service at the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead and highly recommend it for any event!
