I'm a Michigan-based photographer who loves to wander and create. I'll go where you go!

Back in high school, a name popped into my head - The Northern Story. I remember drawing logos and branding for the name in old notebooks just for fun. I had no idea why or what I would do with it, but I kept it for the future. After a few years, my passion for photography grew and I knew exactly what I would use that name for. In 2018, I launched my photography business.

I photograph weddings, families, and the importance stuff of life. The essence of my business is to capture a fun and playful spirit with a little bit of editorial flair. Ultimately we are here to capture the story of you.

It's truly a joy for me to photograph the moments and people that make life beautiful. What’s more is that I get to do a lot of my photography with my husband as well, so if you book The Northern Story, you just might meet Nate too.

I have a strong inclination towards Jesus. I love to laugh, enjoy a good cup of coffee, and getting out on that dance floor.
