The Mulehouse is a wedding venue located in Columbia, Tennessee, just 53 minutes away from Nashville. Formerly home to the city’s First Baptist Church, the building was purchased by Blair and Eric Garner. The owners of this 55,000-square-foot space delight in offering nearlyweds the aesthetics of a classic church with the ambience of a modern grand hall.
Facilities and Capacity
When celebrating at The Mulehouse, couples can avail themselves of a variety of versatile event spaces. The venue’s main room can comfortably accommodate up to 500 guests in theater-style seating for ceremonies. With original stained glass windows paired with exposed brick walls, steel columns, and nine crystal chandeliers, it offers a stylish atmosphere for any occasion. After the ceremony, up to 265 loved ones can dine and dance with the newlyweds in the same space. Cocktail hours can take place in the courtyard and lounge area, depending on your vision. Prior to the celebration’s highlights, you and your partner are welcome to prepare for the day in separate get-ready suites. These lounge spaces feature comfortable seating and full bathrooms for the convenience of the couple and their wedding parties.

At The Mulehouse, you are invited to celebrate your engagement party, shower, rehearsal dinner, elopement, or anything in between. Blair, Eric, and their attentive staff are dedicated to helping couples host one-of-a-kind occasions that reflect their unique relationships. They will be there to clean up your event space, allowing you more time to spend with loved ones. The venue is equipped with state-of-the-art sound, light, and video capabilities to fit your needs. There are five in-house cameras available to film and live stream any aspect of your special day, as well as a projector and screen to share nostalgic images with your nearest and dearest. For all of your entertainment needs, custom event lighting, WiFi, a dance floor, and a stage for live music are available.
