Best DJ Ever!
The real star of the show wedding night was DJ Rob. Wow, he really killed it. We had 2 phone conversations, one in the beginning of the process and one a few days before to review everything. And I had the utmost confidence that Rob knew the exact vibe and feel we wanted for cocktail hour and dinner leading into the dancing portion of the night. What I didn’t know is that he would absolutely kill it. He exceeded all of our expectations in the best way. The dance floor was packed for over two hours. Everyone raved about the music and how good it was. He seamlessly transitioned from song to song, while also keeping the night moving and ensuring everything went amazing. We had the best night of our lives and are so thankful! I can’t recommended him or Meritage more. Thank you so much for making our music dreams come true night of the wedding!

We interact with different vendors for each wedding held at The Essex Room. We are fortunate enough to have really great relationships with 97% of our vendors and James and Liz from Meritage Entertainment are now part of the Essex Room family. They were honestly just wonderful to work with on every level. The weather was looking dicey, but James was very proactive and understanding as we put off making the decision of the ceremony being inside or outside. Liz was held the lighting control and they transformed the room with beautiful lights that matched the music and the energy from the guests. They both went out of their way to offer photos of the room with the up lighting and we can't wait to see them. We look forward to having them back again.
