James truly knows how to read the room and know what your crowd wants. He was so professional and was so helpful throughout the whole process. He gave the best advice when it came to getting our party going and keeping it going - I highly recommend listening to their professional opinions because they VERY MUCH know what they are talking about.
The last song at our wedding was a moment I will never forget - it was the perfect, high energy end to the perfect night. James knew exactly how to end it with a bang. I am so grateful to have hired James for our wedding - I truly could not imagine our day without Meritage.
Additionally we hired the harpist Erica through Meritage to play at our ceremony and cocktail hour and she was absolutely wonderful. She learned a special song for us for me to walk down the aisle to and It was FLAWLESS. The entire meritage team is unbeatable. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

We interact with different vendors for each wedding held at The Essex Room. We are fortunate enough to have really great relationships with 97% of our vendors and James and Liz from Meritage Entertainment are now part of the Essex Room family. They were honestly just wonderful to work with on every level. The weather was looking dicey, but James was very proactive and understanding as we put off making the decision of the ceremony being inside or outside. Liz was held the lighting control and they transformed the room with beautiful lights that matched the music and the energy from the guests. They both went out of their way to offer photos of the room with the up lighting and we can't wait to see them. We look forward to having them back again.
