The Monarch Room (part of Heritage Events Space) was the perfect place for a wedding reception!! It had an amazing view of downtown Kansas City, Joe, the owner, was extremely helpful and great to work with, and the lighting and additions the room has for you to use are amazing!!

BEWARE IF YOU ATTEND THIS BAR AND ARE WITH A GROUP YOU MAY BE HELD LIABLE FOR THE WHOLE BARS TAB... that's what happened to me. When I went up there to resolve the matter a guy claiming to be the owner and a "manager" who could only tell me that the decision to put the full bar tab on my card was the GM CAMERON CORDONADO. He is extremely nasty and seems to think the customer is responsible for his employees and his lack of professionalism during emergencies and not his EXTREME LACK of training! He was very rude and condescending as if I should be on the hook because other adults ran out on a tab and after I have sent a request for a itemized receipt he has failed to provide any such thing. They have officially stolen money from me and will not contact me back... GET YOUR RECEIPTS AND CLOSE YOUR TAB WITH THEM SHOWING YOU ITS CLOSED! They will lie and steal your money. They still haven't provided a itemized receipt saying what the the almost $400 charge was for.
