Michelle was a joy to work with! I felt so beautiful and all my bridesmaids looked amazing! We were running behind schedule that morning but she rolled with the punches and made sure we all looked our best and got us out the door in time. The airbrush foundation was amazing as well- I wouldn't recommend anything else for your wedding. I had great coverage but didn't feel like I had on pounds of makeup. Michelle is also just great to talk to and made our morning getting ready fun and relaxing!

I was planning my wedding in Washington from California and had to find someone to do hair and makeup for myself, the maid of honor and the Mother of the Groom. I emailed with a few people but Michelle Mai Smith stood out. I like how flexible Michelle was and also that she would travel and do hair and makeup at our location. I sent her pictures of how I wanted our hair and make to look and she hit the nail on the head. We all looked beautiful and flawless. I have never had my makeup airbrushed before but let me tell you the results are phenomenal! Michelle is professional and her work is astonishing! I felt beautiful and ready to get married. My makeup held up all night, and so did my hair.

If I could do things over I wouldn't change a thing, Michelle is an artist! Any event that your want to look you best choose The Make Up Session!

I really enjoyed working with Michelle! She came over to my house twice for run-throughs which I think is extremely generous, especially given her very reasonable price point When I was shopping vendors she was also one of the only ones that didn't charge an extravagant travel fee.The only stress was as a bride planning out-of-state I had to carefully plan visits to Seattle, and due to conflicts we had to reschedule the final run through twice which left me a little stressed toward the end. However, she came through in the end and I was very happy with my hair and make-up day-of. She also did all my bridesmaids make-up and they were extremely happy with her work. She uses very high quality make-up and the airbrush foundation which is really nice. Hair and make-up was really important to me (obviously, trying to look good!) and I'm really happy that I chose Michelle!

Malia was incredible!!!! She handled myself (the bride), 3 bridemaids and 2 mothers with class and sophistication. She was patient, inventive, and listened to our varying hairstyle wants and needs! She was on time to all appointments and emailed back extremely quickly when I had questions. I was so pleased! She put us all at ease and satisfied us 100%.

Michelle is the best. Such a talented artist--my makeup lastest all night! She met me in Portland for our trial, she is lightening fast at communicating, and she is just the sweetest in the whole world. VERY talented lady! So happy I hired her!

I can't say enough good things about Michelle!

My hair and makeup were absolutely perfect on my wedding day! I received a ton of compliments about how flawless the makeup looked all day and that it looked fresh even at the end of a long night of dancing. To be honest it still looked amazing the next morning so I wore it to Top Pot. :)

I purchased the package with the trial which I would recommend. When we did the trial I was happy with it but when I got home I thought it might be a bit heavy for my style. Michelle was SUPER understanding about it, even purchasing a new product to fit my wishes and giving me a quick second trial for free. We were able to find the perfect makeup and something I knew my soon to be husband would love.

Beyond being amazing at hair and makeup Michelle is just an awesome person to have around you on your wedding day. She is calm, kind and reassuring. She never made me feel like I was freaking out (even when I was).

I was so happy to not have to run to two different places for hair and makeup. I was able to stay in our hotel room and get ready in one spot. Seriously, an awesome experience overall!

I was very happy with my hair and makeup. She took the time to get to know me, my makeup and hair reflected who I was. Michelle was also so sweet and kind, I was a little nervous and she helped calm me down. I felt beautiful that day of my wedding and most importantly my now husband was stunned! Michelle was incredible! I looked and felt absolutely beautiful. She did exactly what I wanted at my trial and when I changed my mind for my look from the trial to the wedding day she was completely flexible and pulled it off without a hitch. I am so happy with the way things turned out!!!

I cannot say enough good things about this vendor. I had my trial and wedding makeup done by Krystle. She was on time, professional and extremely friendly. Without me even saying anything, she redid my airbrushing during the trial to get it to match perfectly. While I looked absolutely wonderful after the trial there were a few things I wanted changed to look more like myself for the wedding. She did a great job listening to what I wanted and not just putting on makeup! Again, I have never looked better and she made me feel very relaxed on my wedding day!

Michelle was absolutely wonderful. I felt (and looked) beautiful all night. I highly recommend her.
