The Loft at Russell’s is a historic restaurant and wedding venue located in Bothell, Washington. Situated only 20 minutes northeast of Seattle, this unique venue is housed in a renovated dairy barn built in 1927. They offer over 4,000 square feet of event space for both your ceremony and reception. The Loft at Russell’s prides themselves on their delicious catering and ability to bring your individual vision to life.

Facilities and Capacity

Couples can accommodate up to 200 guests at this one-of-a-kind restaurant. The Loft at Russell’s features beautiful cathedral ceilings, clear grain cedar wallboards and a refinished original fir floor from the 1920s. You can easily host your ceremony and reception in this gorgeous loft, or you can say your “i do's” outside underneath towering trees and then dance the night away in the barn. Multiple windows and string lights give this unique space a romantic glow.

Services Offered

This full-service venue has been a part of the wedding industry for over 20 years. They offer event planning services and event rentals to ensure every detail of your special day is taken care of. They have an on-site bridal suite where you and your bridal party can get ready, as well as plenty of complimentary parking for your guests. Lighting and sound is included with your rental fee, along with setup and cleanup. Linens, chairs and glassware are available for an additional charge, depending on your preferences and the number of guests you're having. Additional services include:

Cuisine

The Loft at Russell’s offers in-house catering from Russell Lowell Catering. Their goal is to create a menu that your guests will remember, while also considering seasonal, fresh and local ingredients. They offer an extensive wine list due to their deep ties with the Woodinville Wine Community, and their experienced staff is available to serve it to you. Couples can choose from hors d'oeuvres, a cocktail reception, a buffet or a plated meal. Sample entrees include:

Worth every penny!

Do not let the setting fool you - this place is an absolute gem for indoor PNW weddings.

Sarah was so easy to work with and helped us navigate the entire process. “Simple Done Well” is their mantra, and we felt that at every turn. Their day-of staff were so quick to jump in and make the day run just seamlessly. Incredible food (biggest compliment we’ve received from guests!), and a beautiful indoor space. We wanted something that required a very light touch for decor and The Loft absolutely delivered. It made life so easy to have their team coordinate various rentals (furniture and linens), and no need to manage vendor licenses or insurance with this venue. We would’ve loved the weather to cooperate enough to take full advantage of the beautiful courtyard. Would not hesitate to recommend for weddings or other events.

Phenomenal venue and service!

Just perfect! Megan was our venue coordinator and I cannot thank her enough for making our wedding perfect. Great communication, vendor referrals, suggestions. She arranged a wonderful dinner with the restaurant since menu tasting wasn't possible when we booked during lockdown. She also set me up with the bar manager to do a private wine tasting one afternoon. The food and drinks are beyond delicious. The staff is amazing. Megan made sure our ceremony rehearsal and wedding day all went according to plan. Having so many big ticket wedding items being coordinated by one person who understands the venue and menu saved us so much time and stress. Well worth every penny. And I cannot forget the absolutely beautiful space!

Perfect day at the perfect venue!

The moment we walked in to the Loft at Russell’s, my (now) husband and I immediately knew this was where we had to get married. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and barely needed any additional decor for the wedding.

Lucie, the event coordinator at Russell’s, was a delight to work with. She was very responsive with emails, and never hesitated to answer any and all questions we had. We also hired a day-of coordinator, and they worked together with no issues whatsoever.

We chose to do a buffet-style dinner, and people are still talking about how good the food was. It’s been six months since the wedding, and my mom is still raving about the mashed potatoes! My husband and I are so grateful to the staff at Russell’s who helped make our day so memorable.

It was a perfect day, and it happened at the perfect place. I can’t recommend Russell’s enough!

Absolutely first class!

Our wedding was flawless. The team at Russell's Lucie and Sarah were amazing and made us feel completely at ease. Beautiful wedding from begging to end and beautiful bride to spend the rest of my life with, what more can you ask for.

Best Wedding Venue!

I couldn't speak more highly of our experience having our wedding at Russell's! First of all, you're guaranteed to have amazing food so that's an easy decision. Secondly, they handle all the rentals, service staff, bar, set up, tear down, etc. for you so that makes the planning process much more simplified. They do this all the time so there is no guess-work in regards to the day going smoothly. Additionally, the venue is stunning, well-kept and incredibly unique with tons of free parking. Finally, you get to work with their venue coordinator, Lucie, who is amazing. Through our wedding planning process she was prompt to respond to emails, extremely detail oriented, flexible, had great suggestions and helped make our day perfect. We could not possibly be happier with our decision to have our wedding at Russell's and know our guests loved it too!

We used Russel's for our rehearsal dinner, but this would also make a fantastic ceremony or reception location. The event staff was so helpful, and the food is to DIE for. The space is an absolutely beautiful loft in a historic barn above Russel's restaurant, and easily held 80+ people for a seated dinner (and could hold more). The location is a bit odd, but once you are inside you forget all of it. I highly recommend them as both an event space and a caterer - and you should really check out the restaurant as well!

Best day of my life!

Best staff, venue & space we could have asked for!! The wedding was incredibly beautiful in the loft of the barn (looks like an upside down ship!). The rich deeps of the wood makes it so you really hardly need any decorations to make the space uniquely beautiful. They were so accommodating to our every request as well including last minute reshuffling of tables. Also - BEST FOOD ON THE PLANET.

Wedding Reception

The Venue was beautiful! The service from Lucy prior to the event, then the evening of the event was perfect! The staff was so attentive. I cannot remember the name of the gal that was overseeing staff during the event. I wish I could--she was professional and treated my husband and I as though the world revolved around our every need and want. I do not recall being serviced with such care, concern and professionalism. Worth every penny!

Caring staff who worked hard to make our event just the way we wanted it

While we had a bit of a change over with a few different event coordinators while working with Russell's, we eventually got to work with Lucie, who was kind, prompt, and just all-around wonderful. It felt like she pulled out all the stops for us. She even let me have my unusual choice of milk for a beverage during the event =)

We had the good fortune of meeting the owner as well. It is very obvious that he puts all of his heart and soul into the restaurant. We really appreciated getting to speak with him.

The staff at Russell's was very professional and courteous. We can't rave enough about the food, we are still getting comments from our guests about how great it was, and how beautiful of a venue the Loft at Russell's was. We had a wedding ceremony and reception both upstairs and the team did such an amazing job flipping the room in-between that I hardly even noticed the change.

Everyone at Russell's made our event the tremendously romantic and unforgettable experience that we'd always hoped it would be. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it happen! We highly recommend this venue!

We used Russell's for our rehearsal dinner. Although we chose to use their room downstairs, it was a fantastic choice! The food is amazing! Our wedding venue was in Snohomish and we had guests staying in Woodinville, so the location worked out perfectly.
