Where do I begin when I try to describe my amazing wedding reception at The Inn at Villanova University. Jamie Ritter, the Inn’s wedding coordinator, listened to all my ideas and gave wonderful advice. Her input and incredible knowledge made my reception pure perfection. She was always very quick to answer any questions I had when planning my event with her. She provided a vendor list which was very helpful since I do not live in the area.
The reception food offerings tasting event was scheduled a few months before my wedding date and gave me valuable insight into what The Inn offers. It was so hard to decide because all the choices were excellent. Meeting the actual chefs was an added bonus.
My guests at the reception were very impressed with the service, the excellent food, the attention to detail and the stunning beauty of the Montrose Mansion at The Inn, the grounds surrounding it and the ballroom.
I was fortunate to have a beautiful day so having cocktail hour on the patio with the incredible view of the grounds was a wonderful way to begin the celebration. Signature cocktails for the bride and groom were a big hit with The Inn providing the signage for me.
Before the ceremony, I was provided the bridal suite in the mansion where my bridesmaids and I, along with my hair and makeup team, were allowed to relax and enjoy the special morning of getting ready.
Many of my guests, including my wedding party, stayed at The Inn and were very complimentary of the rooms and the service.
My new husband and I stayed at The Inn in an amazing suite on our wedding night. It was complimentary and many special surprises were provided for us. We were treated like royalty and were very grateful for the extra mile they went for us.
The Inn at Villanova University made my wedding dreams come true. I cannot thank them enough for making my day perfect and truly unforgettable.

We absolutely loved working with the Inn at Villanova for our wedding! They made everything seamless and Jamie was great to work with! It’s an effortlessly gorgeous venue but we’re able to accommodate all of our requests and are very responsive. The food was also incredible! I’d absolutely recommend them as a venue!

The ability to personlize the Mansion and Ball Room made the day unique and special just for my daughter and "son". The food was delicous and guests were pleased with the pasta station with great variety and huge plate. The Bridal Suite to get ready started a day making it feel like a queen for th day from the start of the day. Jamie and everyone accomodated our requests and made us feel like a priority .

We recently hosted our wedding at the Inn at Villanova and Montrose Mansion. From our first meeting and walk through of the venue with Jamie and Kathy, we loved everything about it. From the leadership of the Inn at Villanova to the custodial and groundskeeping staff, everyone on site was helpful, kind, supportive and only wanted to ensure the success and hospitality of our day. Our food tasting experience was top notch with so many delicious options to choose from in a beautifully set dining room. It is obvious how much pride the people affiliated with the Inn at Villanova take in the space and ensuring the success of your event there. The communication from Jamie and Kathy was always timely and helpful. They answered questions and made suggestions which ensured that our wedding day went seamlessly from start to finish.

With regard to pricing and ease of use, I highly recommend the Inn at Villanova. The food is prepared by in house staff and chefs which maximizes value and eliminates the need to find a caterer. There are a variety of appetizer options to choose from along with main course choices and dessert options and add ons. The Inn at Villanova also provides your choice of linen colors for tablecloths and napkins and already has all banquet tables and chairs on site. The Inn at Villanova has partnered with preferred bakeries in the area which results in additional value pricing as the cost of the cake from a preferred vendor is included in the wedding package. Working with third party vendors who provided photography, videography, flowers and DJ/Music services for our wedding was also easy as communication between all parties was timely and comprehensive.

On the date of our wedding, the bridal suite and our hotel suite were comfortable spaces to get ready. Light food fare was available to order and was delivered to ensure we were comfortable throughout the day.

We continue to receive compliments about our wedding day including “best wedding I’ve ever been to” and general praise on how beautiful the grounds were, especially with seasonal plantings and décor throughout, that the mansion and its patios were cozy and scenic with a variety of seating options both indoors and outdoors for guests and that the ballroom comfortably accommodated all of our guests with a large dance floor. Our guests also raved about the food and the professional service provided by the servers and bartenders. Our out of town guests enjoyed the convenience of the well appointed hotel rooms and access to the onsite café with coffee and food options. As part of the wedding package we also received a complementary night’s stay in the suite with special treats delivered to our room.

Our wedding day was perfect and memorable and we sincerely appreciate the professionalism and support provided by everyone at the Inn at Villanova.

Thanks SO MUCH to the Inn's team for everything they did to make our wedding weekend run without a hitch! Our guests were so impressed with their incredibly professional, helpful, thoughtful, and friendly staff and they couldn't stop raving about how delicious every morsel of food was. The whole experience absolutely confirmed the fact that we chose the perfect venue for our events.

We cannot thank Jamie and Kathy enough for making our vow renewal so special. The whole day felt like it was straight out of a movie. From the very beginning of planning, they were clear, organized, and thoughtful. Every detail was seamless, from being transparent about pricing from the start to the end of brunch when one of our friends arrived late and their team made him a breakfast sandwich so he would still have something to eat. That kind of care did not go unnoticed.

From the moment we walked into the hotel and the front desk greeted us with such warmth, I felt so welcomed I actually cried. The little touches like apples and water for guests, the amazing bartender on our first night, the care their team took with the gift bags, and making sure everyone fit comfortably into the venue all meant so much. And the food… it was impeccable. Both dinner and brunch were better than anything we could have dreamed up. It is a huge testament to their organization and communication skills that we were able to plan the entire event from California without worry.

There are no words to describe how thankful we are. Jamie, Kathy, and the team at the Inn at Villanova made our weekend unforgettable, and we feel so lucky to have worked with them.

Our July 12, 2025 reception at the Inn at Villanova was everything we hoped for. From our first walkthrough to the very last song, Jamie was responsive, kind, and completely on top of every detail. She, Kathy, and Bruce also worked beautifully with my parents—who planned the entire wedding—to make sure the day flowed smoothly.

The ballroom was stunning, the food and bar service were excellent, and the entire team made sure we and our guests felt cared for all night long. Parking was easy, transitions were seamless, and we were able to just enjoy the celebration knowing everything was handled. We couldn’t be more grateful to Jamie and the staff for giving us such a joyful, stress-free wedding day!

The Inn was above and beyond lovely! The staff handled our event with such grace, each person we encountered was pleasant , efficient and enjoyable! Our daughter’s wedding could not have been more memorable.

My wife and I recently held our cocktail hour and wedding reception at The Inn at Villanova and were blown away! First off, we had our wedding ceremony at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, and the convenience of having our reception at The Inn just 5 minutes down the road cannot be understated. Additionally, comparing with other main-line venues, the bang for your buck at The Inn is quite impressive. Our cocktail hour was held at the Montrose Mansion, which was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor space for our guests to transition between and mingle while overlooking the beautiful terraced greenery and fountained pond. Our reception was held in the main ballroom, which, while initially looking more like a conference room, transformed with impressively minimal decoration (bistro lights strung from the ceiling, up-lights on the columns) into the perfect space and environment to celebrate our marriage while dancing the night away. Moreover, we also could not understate the convenience of all our guests to be able to walk down the hallway to their rooms at the end of the night. The staff at The Inn were incredible throughout the process. Our wedding coordinator Jamie had a wealth of experience, communicating early and often to make sure we were staying on track for our deadlines. As a couple who were planning the wedding ourselves, Jamie essentially filled the role of a wedding planner both leading up to and on the day of the wedding, taking a huge amount of work and stress off our shoulders. My wife and I also have nothing but good things to say about chef Adam and the food he and his team prepared for us; our guests raved about the food all night long, especially the vegetarian/gluten free options. If you are having a Main-Line wedding, especially if you're getting married at St. Thomas, we urge you to strongly consider The Inn at Villanova for your special day. We could not have imagined a more comprehensive and amazing place to have celebrated the start to our new life together!

Our wedding day at the Inn was beautiful! The venue was spectacular and truly picturesque. Jamie Ritter and her team of professionals' curation of our wedding celebration far exceeded even our very high expectations. We are Northerners (Manhattanites) with just months to plan our first wedding without a wedding planner, and the Inn handled every detail with such precision and perfection! From the planning stages and tasting, at which the chef explained each exquisitely delicious dish in great detail, to the stunning transformation of the ballroom, there was not a single detail overlooked. The Inn's orchestration of our cocktail reception at The Montrose Mansion, which was the perfect setting for our a cappella serenade, followed by our reception in the ballroom with our 11 piece band, and the attention paid to our guests by the wait staff, made our whole experience feel as if we were in our private club. Each of our vendors and guests made a point of commenting how wonderful everyone was at the Inn. There are not sufficient words to express our gratitude to Jamie and the entire team at the Inn for making our wedding day magical and the very best day or our lives!
