The wedding of our dreams!

Have your wedding at the Inn at Villanova!!! They gave us our dream wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect! Kristin, our coordinator was incredible from the first time we met her. She answered all of my questions and emails quickly and made everything happen for us! The combination of the hotel, mansion, and ballroom made for a gorgeous wedding in a beautiful place, with the ease of accommodations just steps from our reception. The mansion was gorgeous for cocktail hour and had many different spaces so people could wander and mingle as they liked. The ballroom was decorated beautifully and did not feel too crowded or too empty with our 90 guests. The food was incredible, all of our guests...

Have your wedding at the Inn at Villanova!!! They gave us our dream wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect! Kristin, our coordinator was incredible from the first time we met her. She answered all of my questions and emails quickly and made everything happen for us! The combination of the hotel, mansion, and ballroom made for a gorgeous wedding in a beautiful place, with the ease of accommodations just steps from our reception. The mansion was gorgeous for cocktail hour and had many different spaces so people could wander and mingle as they liked. The ballroom was decorated beautifully and did not feel too crowded or too empty with our 90 guests. The food was incredible, all of our guests commented on how delicious everything was! We had an after party back in the mansion which was fun and delicious and then brunch in the mansion the next morning, which was again, delicious. Brian and Sarah from the food and beverage team were kind, professional, and excellent. They made sure everything ran smoothly and was perfect! The staff was lovely and so helpful and kind. The service, food, and atmosphere were all incredible. It was the most perfect wedding and we are forever grateful to the Inn! Thank you!!!

Spectacular

The Inn was above and beyond lovely! The staff handled our event with such grace, each person we encountered was pleasant , efficient and enjoyable! Our daughter’s wedding could not have been more memorable.

A wonderful place to celebrate your special day!

My wife and I recently held our cocktail hour and wedding reception at The Inn at Villanova and were blown away! First off, we had our wedding ceremony at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, and the convenience of having our reception at The Inn just 5 minutes down the road cannot be understated. Additionally, comparing with other main-line venues, the bang for your buck at The Inn is quite impressive. Our cocktail hour was held at the Montrose Mansion, which was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor space for our guests to transition between and mingle while overlooking the beautiful terraced greenery and fountained pond. My wife and I recently held our cocktail hour and wedding reception at The Inn at Villanova and were blown away! First off, we had our wedding ceremony at St. Thomas of Villanova Church, and the convenience of having our reception at The Inn just 5 minutes down the road cannot be understated. Additionally, comparing with other main-line venues, the bang for your buck at The Inn is quite impressive. Our cocktail hour was held at the Montrose Mansion, which was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect blend of indoor and outdoor space for our guests to transition between and mingle while overlooking the beautiful terraced greenery and fountained pond. Our reception was held in the main ballroom, which, while initially looking more like a conference room, transformed with impressively minimal decoration (bistro lights strung from the ceiling, up-lights on the columns) into the perfect space and environment to celebrate our marriage while dancing the night away. Moreover, we also could not understate the convenience of all our guests to be able to walk down the hallway to their rooms at the end of the night. The staff at The Inn were incredible throughout the process. Our wedding coordinator Jamie had a wealth of experience, communicating early and often to make sure we were staying on track for our deadlines. As a couple who were planning the wedding ourselves, Jamie essentially filled the role of a wedding planner both leading up to and on the day of the wedding, taking a huge amount of work and stress off our shoulders. My wife and I also have nothing but good things to say about chef Adam and the food he and his team prepared for us; our guests raved about the food all night long, especially the vegetarian/gluten free options. If you are having a Main-Line wedding, especially if you're getting married at St. Thomas, we urge you to strongly consider The Inn at Villanova for your special day. We could not have imagined a more comprehensive and amazing place to have celebrated the start to our new life together!

Where do I begin when I try to describe my amazing wedding reception at The Inn at Villanova University. Jamie Ritter, the Inn’s wedding coordinator, listened to all my ideas and gave wonderful advice. Her input and incredible knowledge made my reception pure perfection. My guests at the reception were very impressed with the service, the excellent food, the attention to detail and the stunning beauty of the Montrose Mansion at The Inn, the grounds surrounding it and the ballroom.
I was fortunate to have a beautiful day so having cocktail hour on the patio with the incredible view of the grounds was a wonderful way to begin the celebration. Signature cocktails for the bride and groom were a big hit with The Inn providing the signage for me.
Before the ceremony, I was provided the bridal suite in the mansion where my bridesmaids and I, along with my hair and makeup team, were allowed to relax and enjoy the special morning of getting ready.
Many of my guests, including my wedding party, stayed at The Inn and were very complimentary of the rooms and the service.
My new husband and I stayed at The Inn in an amazing suite on our wedding night. It was complimentary and many special surprises were provided for us. We were treated like royalty and were very grateful for the extra mile they went for us.
The Inn at Villanova University made my wedding dreams come true. I cannot thank them enough for making my day perfect and truly unforgettable.

The Wedding of Every Brides Dream

I’m the world’s happiest bride! From the ballroom decorations to the prompt communication from all staff members, there is no better place to get married than the Inn at Villanova! All of our guest bragged about the food at they cocktail hour and the reception! The grounds are STUNNING for pictures! Even though they are very selective about outside food and vendors, the Inn provided me, my fiancé, our bridal party, and all of our guests everything we wanted! Everyone works really hard to make every bride’s dreams come true!

Our wedding reception was an absolute dream. The IAVU was magical, and Kristin and her team could not have been more helpful. I wish we could do it all over again!!!

I cannot say enough about the I@V. The hotel, the food and the STAFF were all fantastic. Our guest repeatedly commented on all aspects of the venue. SO many people said “it was the best wedding I ever went to’. A significant portion of that was the venue! Thank you Robin and Ashley (and everyone else) for a wonderful - beyond expectations - wedding. You made it happen and made it a personal mission to have a great event.

Beautiful venue, amazing staff

We live overseas so left the venue visits up to family in Philadelphia. When they visited IAVU, they told us to book it right away! We were overjoyed the first time we visited with how beautiful the grounds, mansion, ballroom and hotel looked and how incredible it was to work with Ashley and Robin for our wedding. Ashley and Robin were extremely communicative, professional and accommodating during the entire planning process and Robin was amazing on the day. Robin and the IAVU staff saw to all our and our guests’ needs, allowing us to just sit back, dance and enjoy! If you are looking for a beautiful full service venue without the stuffiness that can sometimes come with hotels and conference centers, this is the place for you!

Amazing experience

The Inn At Villanova University is a one stop shop for a great wedding experience. You can't beat the beautiful historical Montrose Mansion connected to an updated and modern ballroom surrounded with windows to view the beautiful courtyard. Seriously- there is no shortage of photographic areas and places for guests to roam and be comfortable. We got so many compliments on our venue and everything was perfect from cocktail hour to the reception to our after party. The food was delicious and the chef worked with us individually to create specific snack foods for our after party. The best part was at the end of the night...we just walked down the hall to our room! Seriously the best decision we ever made. I hope to attend a wedding here as a guest in the future!! Amazing.

We had absolutely the most perfect day hosting our wedding at The Inn at Villanova! Ashley, Robin, and the team at the Inn did everything in their power to create the most amazing wedding for us. She is extraordinarily professional and organized and treated our wedding like it was just as important to her as it was to us. No detail was too small for the team at the Inn and every single thing was perfect on our big day. We got tons of compliments on how convenient it was for people to have their rooms onsite so at the end of their nights they could walk down the hall right to bed. The grounds of the Inn are spectacular and made for the most breathtaking photos. We did all of our bridal party photos on the grounds and can't get over how gorgeous they turned out. The food was without a doubt the best food I have ever had at a wedding. It tasted like food you would order at a restaurant, not like it was mass produced for 150 people, I do not know how they do it! We also did an after party in the mansion and brunch the next day and every event was managed to perfection. I honestly do not have a single critique of the Inn everything was that great. My family is from the Philly area and all of my guests said it was the best venue they have been to and a lot of them want to use it for future events. My husband's family traveled in from Maine and were shocked a wedding could be as perfect as the one The Inn put on for us. The common theme for all of our guests was that it was the best wedding they have ever been to! I cannot recommend the Inn enough for anyone looking for a perfect wedding, you will not be disappointed!!

Jamie Ritter and her team of professionals' curation of our wedding celebration far exceeded even our very high expectations. Best Day Ever!

Our wedding at The Inn at Villanova University was simply breathtaking, beyond anything we had ever envisioned. The staff was always so kind and warm throughout the process. The team truly did ensure every detail was attended to with care and just as we wanted. We got married in October, and the venue's picturesque setting provided the perfect backdrop. The grounds are so beautiful, we did not need to stop at any additional; places for pictures.

Look No Further!

We cannot recommend The Inn at Villanova highly enough. We wanted a low stress but upscale (while still being casual) event, and Kristin and her team made it such a joy to plan. Our guests raved about the food and how beautiful the venue was.

The Inn at Villanova is the Quintessential Venue

Wire only gave me a small space to write my review. Not enough space to say what an extraordinarily wonderful venue for our wedding!! The Inn is BEAUTIFUL! We occupied every lovely space all day. This was perfect -so convenient + perfect for pics. Food was generous, marvelous + delicious. Each course/station was beautifully presented! The Filet is Phenomenal! STAFF is incredible, helpful + friendly. Kristin is the best, fulfilled every request with a smile + a YES. EVERY guest has called me to say what a fantastic wedding it was, and it was because the INN is the quintessential venue for a wedding.

Fantastic wedding experience

Perfect!

Absolutely perfect experience. The venue was beautiful. The perfect indoor/outdoor space. And absolutely nothing beats having a hotel onsite. We had the most perfect day. The coordinator was amazing to work with. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. And all of the guests raved about the food!

A beautiful and easy wedding weekend at the IAVU

The experience of working with the IAVU was amazing. The venue is a hidden gem and just beautiful. The team I worked with was amazing and executed our day to a tee. The team went above and beyond to truly make it perfect. I would recommend having a party here through and through!

White Glove Level Service! A++

My wife and I were looking at several venues in the Philadelphia area when we found The Inn at Villanova. We could not be happier with our event! Everything went off smoothly and was handled for us so we could just focus on enjoying the day. Kristin was fantastic in helping us coordinate all the details. They made sure every small detail we wanted was met. The food was amazing and the attached hotel allowed us to have our guests stay right at the same venue. Perfect location!

The best venue ever!

We had our wedding at the Inn at Villanova in July of 2022 and our guests can’t stop talking about how much fun it was and what a perfect venue the Inn was—we HIGHLY recommend the Inn as a venue.
We REALLY have to thank the amazing Kristin, the chef and the whole staff were wonderful to work with and went above and beyond to make our day incredible.
Our wedding was originally scheduled for 2020 but was rescheduled to 2022 due to Covid and the Inn was incredibly accommodating and gracious along the way it was a night we will always remember and the Inn will always be a fond memory for us!

Perfect Venue

The Inn at Villanova University blew away our expectations, and my husband and I cannot recommend this place enough! Robin, Kiara, and the whole Villanova staff went above and beyond. Two months before our wedding date, our original venue was flooded and we were stressed to find a new venue in time. Robin and Kiara were so nice, understanding, organized, and very accommodating. They made the whole process very easy. The venue is perfect during the fall season. A lot places at the Mansion to take beautiful pictures with the fall colors. Food was amazing, the chef did a great job. Plenty of floor spaces for a dance party, and all our guests had a blast. We were also...

A one stop shop to make your wedding day the perfect experience.

With guests coming in from out of town we wanted a venue that had the old main line feel and onsite accommodations that were close to St. Thomas of Villanova Church. The Inn checked all of these boxes. Ashley was very responsive and professional throughout the entire process! No idea caught her off guard - she found a way to make it work. We were able to host all of our events onsite from getting ready to brunch on Sunday.

The food ended up exceeding our expectations. We left the tasting a little uneasy but take it from us, the day of the wedding they blew our expectations out of the water! The Inn's chef really stepped...

Fall wedding venue of your dreams

The Inn at Villanova is absolutely breathtaking. From the old Montrose Mansion to the newer, more modern banquet hall and rooms. The banquet hall has floor to ceiling windows which was a game-changer for me. The views are beautiful. There are trees everywhere. It looks like an English garden. The staff is ridiculously helpful too, especially Ashley Omlor. She was flexible and communicated quickly and clearly. There was never a request she denied. It was supposed to rain my wedding day but the scenery was so beautiful, we got great photos anyways. They definitely fulfilled everything I could want and more.

We just celebrated our wedding at The Inn and The Montrose Mansion and it was absolutely perfect! I just celebrated my wedding at the Inn at Villanova last month and would highly recommend it! The Inn is truly a full service facility. The ballroom has all of the modern conveniences with incredible floor-to-ceiling windows, a hotel for all of your out-of-town guests, and a historic mansion with tons of old world charm. The grounds are breathtaking and lush with greenery and the mansion has many hidden rooms and places for your guests to explore. The food was delicious and the bartenders and staff were friendly and on point. I worked with Ashley throughout the process and she was very detail oriented, thoughtful and really made me feel like a princess on the big day! Five stars.
