The Heitman House is a waterfront wedding venue in Fort Myers, Florida, located on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. Initially built in 1908 as an engagement gift, the grand house is a symbol of love’s new beginnings, enticing couples to make their vows here. Facilities and Capacity

Renowned for its personalized services and delicious catering, The Heitman House welcomes wedding parties to host the wedding of their dreams on-site. The venue caters to intimate or larger weddings (max of 250). Host the ceremony surrounded by lush greenery and views of the river. Moving onto the cocktail hour, newlyweds can explore the venue’s many idyllic locations for photos. For the reception, newlyweds are welcome to customize the grounds with an open-air dance floor and reception area. Please note that ceremony and reception are both held outdoors. The Heitman House closes to events larger than 30 in June/July and fully closes in August and September.

The Heitman House offers all-inclusive wedding packages, beginning with a venue walkthrough and comprehensive in-house event coordination. The venue can provide tables, chairs, and linens, along with complete setup and teardown services. Catering and bar packages are managed by the in-house kitchen, allowing couples to choose between buffets, or plated dining styles for the reception (depending on guest counts).

Brides may also get ready for their once-in-a-lifetime event in the large second floor bridal suite. The carriage home is also available for getting ready purposes.
