My brother-in-law is a musician, and that's how he described The Groove Spot...A Kick Ass Band! We received so many great comments about this group and they are STILL coming in a week later. Because of Covid, while planning the wedding, we were not able to see the band perform in person. We looked at many options, and most bands were much more expensive to hire. We based our final decision on the tons of positive comments online, and we definitely made the right choice. From day one, Vance was so responsive, so friendly and so easy to work with. He was always open to suggestions and requests...he worked with us on a special surprise for our father-daughter dance, and for Goodness sakes, he even had the band learn a Polka because it is an important tradition in our family. When my daughter's wedding day finally arrived, Vance and the band members were extremely professional. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Needless to say, "Roll out the Barrel" was a huge hit and people were still singing it on the shuttle bus home. This group did not take one break! I have never in my lifetime heard guests at a wedding scream for an encore from a wedding band until now. Our family and friends did not want the night to end, that's how amazing this group was. If you want to have the time of your life at your special event, please hire the Groove Spot Band and Show. They are beyond fabulous!

The Groove Spot provided great entertainment for our son’s wedding! They kept the dance floor going all night long and were very easy to work with during the planning process.

From the planning stage of our wedding to the end of the last song of the evening, The Groove Spot Band members were a pleasure to work with. They explain their options such as the size of band and what might work best for the room and party size. They will help tailor the evening to your thoughts, type of music you prefer and suggest what might be best. By the end of the evening, the party guests didn't want them to stop their music. They did two encores for us and everyone went home happy. The bride and groom said they had the wedding of their dreams and along with their parents and the Groove Spot Band we were able to make that happen.

Where do I even begin!! We are SO glad we found The Groove Spot Band and was able to lock them down for our wedding at George Peabody Library! Vance has been the most understanding, most patient, most reliable band leader ever! He made sure things ran smoothly from day 1 to D-day. The band was a hit!! Everyone had such a good time!! They didn’t just sing, they PERFORMED!!! And when I say they performed, I mean, they got the crowd going, they engaged, and they checked the vibe and followed the vibe all throughout the night! We were so lucky to have The Groove Spot Band & Show play our wedding this December. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about The Groove Spot Band & Show! The band leader, Vance, is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and professional and the band is so so so talented! Groove Spot made our wedding unforgettable - so many guests told us that Groove Spot is not only the best wedding band they've ever seen but also one of the best shows/live acts they've seen!!!! The energy was truly infectious - we had guests of all ages on the dance floor all night with songs/dances for everyone and the vocalists made the whole event so interactive and fun! Vance and The Groove Spot were so accommodating with requests and some changes on the week/day of for a seamless experience - rolling with the changes and keeping guests entertained and having a great time! We had a few unconventional song requests that Groove Spot absolutely mastered - all 3 were better than the originals! We were lucky enough to get to work with Vance and Groove Spot for our ceremony music, cocktail hour music, reception music and av/amplification. We got compliments from guests about how fun and beautiful our cocktail hour music was - as a wedding guest I don't know the last time I remembered/noticed the cocktail music, but Groove Spot truly brought such love and talent and energy to make our wedding perfect. Several guests told us walking into the reception they knew it was going to be a great wedding because the ceremony and cocktail hour music had already knocked it out of the park!! We've had 4 engaged couples from our wedding reach out to ask for Vance's info :) (wedding was less than a week ago) - in wedding planning it can be stressful because there are SO many decisions, band/music is such a big decision for setting the tone of your wedding - if you want your guests to dance and have fun that they'll be talking about long after the wedding, we cannot recommend Vance and The Groove Spot highly enough!!!

With a lot of experience booking great banda, Groove Spot was my choice for an 80th birthday celebration for 130 guests. Vance worked with me on my preferred song list of the great soul and R&B hits of the 60s and 70s and even honored my request for a few songs not on their list.

The band had everyone dancing from start to finish, folks of all ages gettin' down. It is challenging to find great horn bands with talented female and male vocalists these days but Groove Spot does it right.

No canned music or DJ can subsgtute for a band like Groove Spot, currently the best in the region. They even allowed my talented 16 year old granddaughter to surprise me by performing with them the solo classic of Whitney Houston's I Want to Dance with Somebody. We were all thrilled.

So do it right, bring on the music and show of Groove Spot and enjoy. Just be sure there's an early sound check so that you're assured full sound with these professional artists.
