My brother-in-law is a musician, and that's how he described The Groove Spot...A Kick Ass Band! We received so many great comments about this group and they are STILL coming in a week later. Because of Covid, while planning the wedding, we were not able to see the band perform in person. We looked at many options, and most bands were much more expensive to hire. We based our final decision on the tons of positive comments online, and we definitely made the right choice. From day one, Vance was so responsive, so friendly and so easy to work with. He was always open to suggestions and requests...he worked with us on a special surprise for our father-daughter dance, and for Goodness sakes, he even had the band learn a Polka because it is an important tradition in our family. When my daughter's wedding day finally arrived, Vance and the band members were extremely professional. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Needless to say, "Roll out the Barrel" was a huge hit and people were still singing it on the shuttle bus home. This group did not take one break! I have never in my lifetime heard guests at a wedding scream for an encore from a wedding band until now. Our family and friends did not want the night to end, that's how amazing this group was. From setup to break down and everything in between, this band was on point! It made the planning of our event stress-free! The night of...they looked good, dressed according to our theme; and was flwless in their play. They had our guest dancing all night even as we were cleaning up LOL...they played a wide range of music, easy to dance and sing along with them. Totally worth every dollar spent! Due to inclement weather, the band was so flexible in rescheduling with me for my mom's surprise 70th Birthday even on Valentine's Day. From the planning stage of our wedding to the end of the last song of the evening, The Groove Spot Band members were a pleasure to work with. They explain their options such as the size of band and what might work best for the room and party size. The band was amazing, played fun dance music that kept guests on the dance floor all night. A week later, I am still hearing how everyone ( 185 guests) truly enjoyed the party and how wonderful the band was. I highly recommend The Groove Spot Band for any event!
