The Georgi on the Battenkill Community Park and Museum is nestled along the world reknowned Battenkill in Shushan, NY, just west of the Vermont Border. The Battenkill wraps around the property, surrounding the lush lawns and beautiful gardens. The 9 acre Community Park showcases a row of 60+ year old Hydrangea Trees that provide cascading pink and white blooms at peak.
The Community Park hosts many public events as well as private affairs and weddings. The lush lawn, colorful gardens and river are an idyllic setting for any special event.
The Georgi Museum houses a collection of Gems and Minerals, Medieval Panel Paintings, East Asian items among many other items. A wall of floor to ceiling windows overlooks the Community Park and world reknowned Battenkill. Within the Museum the Main Floor is available as well as the Battenkill Room, which has a small kitchenette and Farm Table. The Gallery, which houses the Georgi Collection, is available as an option to enhance special affairs.
The Community Room is ideal for meetings and events. It is often used to host small performances like “Caffe Lena on the Battenkill”, family gatherings, birthday parties and exhibits. Brides often use this space as a dressing room, or caterers have the option of having an indoor workspace.
