The Edge 18 is a family-owned and -operated wedding venue located in Middletown, Delaware. Serving couples throughout the Wilmington area, this community center hosts numerous special family events. When it's not opening its doors for memorable occasions, it is a dance and fitness studio, swim and tennis club, and home for summer camps. Owner Valerie grew up attending a golf and swim club, an experience that fostered a strong sense of community in her. She hopes to provide a similar service at this venue, which is a scenic and secluded place to celebrate your wedding.

Facilities and Capacity

The Edge 18 has a spacious ballroom where you can host your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. This hall features wall-to-wall wood floors, a stone fireplace, and a wrap-around veranda that overlooks the golf course. It can accommodate up to 120 seated guests and has plenty of room for dining and dancing. If you prefer an outdoor wedding, you can also rent the lawns for your ceremony. Here, a white gazebo makes for the perfect place to say your vows or for a band to serenade you as you walk down the aisle. Finally, the club has a beautiful facade of stone and farmhouse doors that will look great in photos.

Services Offered

The Edge 18 can be rented for half days or full days on Fridays through Sundays. During the week, you can book the venue by the hour. Holiday rates are also available. To take a tour, the team invites you to get in touch. They also have a list of preferred caterers for your convenience.
