The Cruisin’ Chef is a food truck and caterer located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan that serves the Mid-Michigan region and travels the "mitten" of Michigan as well. They would love to offer couples and their guests delicious food to supplement an amazing celebration.

Cuisine


The Cruisin’ Chef offers many different serving styles, including buffet, stations, plated, hors d’oeuvres, tapas, family style, as well as lunch, dessert, breakfast/brunch, and cocktail reception services. The Cruisin’ Chef will provide couples with servers, who will happily provide cake cutting services, along with linens, china, silver, glass, flatware, and some drinks. They will honor dietary restrictions and offer couples gluten, lactose, nut, and pork free options as well as organic, vegan, and vegetarian options. Couples will work with the Cruisin’ Chef to create a custom menu which may consist of various cuisine styles, including the following:

Alanna and her team were great to work with! Handled accommodations and presentations was beautiful. Everyone loved the food!

Excellent food, Excellent Service, Excellent People

Alanna and company are the absolute best. The Cruisin' Chef catered our 60 person backyard wedding in central Michigan and wow did we make a good choice here. Alanna took time to setup an outdoor tasting in the center of COVID at a park when we thought it was unlikely we'd even be able to do a tasting. She served us the entire menu, talked us through our choices, helped us out thinking through a ton of stuff regarding the wedding (not just catering related), and was super responsive and agreeable throughout the entire process. On the day of her and her staff showed up on time, prepared, were courteous and professional, worked very well with our coordinator, and best of all the food was very, very good. The prime rib was delicious and the sides were perfect. Genuinely cannot say enough about what a great job they did and would highly recommend.

Excellent Service!

Pete Lieber, the Cruisin' Chef, prepared a delicious meal for my wedding dinner (which was held at The Ginkgo Tree Inn that Pete and his wife own). My husband and I opted to serve a thanksgiving meal family style since we're thankful to have found each other and our ceremony was very family-focused. I received many compliments about the food and even more about the outstanding service, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

Cruisin' Chef was Great!

Cruisin' Chef was a great caterer for our company's yearly Christmas party. They were happy to meet our needs for the menu, provided delicious food at a great price, and their customer service was excellent both in preparation for our event and during the party! We would love to use them again!

Absolutely Wonderful!!

We used Cruisin Chef Catering for our recent non-profit fundraising event. They were amazing - their staff was phenomenal. They were so attentive and took wonderful care of our guests. The food was top notch - so delicious. We would highly recommend them for all your catering needs!!
