We had an amazing experience with Detroit On The Rocks for our wedding! From the very beginning, their communication was excellent. They were responsive, organized, and so helpful throughout the planning process, which made everything feel easy and stress-free leading up to the big day.
The staff was absolutely incredible — professional, friendly, fun, and so engaging with our guests. They kept the drinks flowing smoothly all night while creating such a fun atmosphere. So many of our guests commented on how great the bartenders were.
Everything was handled seamlessly, and it was clear they genuinely care about providing great service and making sure everyone has a great time. We are so grateful we chose them for our wedding and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an organized, reliable, and fun bartending team!

Working with Jeff and Detroit On The Rocks was the best decision we made! They came through at short notice, provided amazing service, and really went above and beyond. We had a disabled guest and they helped him through the buffet and carried plates to him, brought him drinks, etc. We had a couple custom cocktails that they were able to serve (and even improve upon) with no problems. The price was SO much more reasonable than expected. I want to throw another party just so we can hire them again.

Their team did a great job for our wedding. Everyone had a great time. No issues. We would definitely recommend them.

I have nothing but excellent things to say about Jeff and his amazing staff at Detroit on the Rocks.

To give some background, my fiancé and I were planning our wedding from out of state in a completely different time zone. Jeff was incredibly patient and understanding of our circumstance.

We went with Detroit on the Rocks because we wanted flexible/accommodating but stress free wedding. Two things I sometimes feel are mutually exclusive, but Jeff made the impossible possible.

Jeff walked us through the different options. We had the option of purchasing our own alcohol with their team to serve but he also gave us the option to purchase the alcohol for us. We personally went with the latter because this meant less planning on our end. This also allowed us to return any unopened alcohol, and all open alcohol was for us to keep. Jeff provided a very detailed list of exactly what alcohol and how much he was going to purchase. This was so helpful because my fiancé and I don’t really drink, so we’re so grateful Jeff provided clear direction/guidance! He let us make changes to the list as well.

We had kids at our wedding, and we reached out to Jeff to see how we can accommodate non alcoholic drinks. He allowed us to bring in our own non alcoholic drinks to accommodate the kids. It was a hit not only with the kids but with the parents as well because they appreciated the thoughtfulness. Jeff’s team even brought a nice container to put the juice boxes on ice!

Jeff’s team made sure everyone was very well hydrated at the wedding. People were able to get their drinks quickly, and everything tasted great.

Detroit on the Rocks recently cater our wedding a few days ago, and our guest raved about their friendly and fast service. Jeff (owner) was a pleasure to work with leading up to the big day. I would book them over and over again. You cannot go wrong with Detroit on the Rocks!

I took time to find the perfect vender to serve alcoholic beverages at my wedding since our banquet hall did not offer this service. I had the pleasure of communicating directly with Jeffrey (Detroit on the Rocks) and it was the best decision I could have made. He was prompt, answered all my questions, was very friendly, took the time to come out to the venue to meet with me and prepare, and was sincere. He was flexible and adjusted our invoice in a timely manner as we made changes to our drinks list. Highly recommend.

Would 100% recommend! Made it easy to figure out what we needed. And responded timely to my questions. The staff that came was great! Had compliments on the service from guests.

They are the best!! We just had our wedding at Ypsilanti Freighthouse with Detroit on the Rocks and man did they do a great job! We did beer, wine, liquor and coffee unlimited, within a reasonable price. And lets all be real with each other, most places were upselling the crap out of poor couples this year with weddings but not Jeff. He gave me a reasonable price without the extra "service fee" of 18% at the end, which by the way brides watch out for that from some vendors and do yourself a favor and don't go with those people. Jeff and his team made our wedding the greatest. Everyone was merry from beginning to end and Ubered or Lyfted home of course. Thanks Jeff!!

Detroit on the Rocks did a great job at our wedding. Jeffrey worked with me over the course of so many emails I lost count to ensure that I was working well within my budget and also that the signature cocktails were exactly what I had in mind. I didn’t drink much as I was little busy getting married on my wedding day, but I did make a point to have all 3 of our signature cocktails and none of them disappointed! I will definitely be reaching out to Detroit on the Rocks next time I have an event that needs bartending services!
