  Excellent service!

  Detroit on the Rocks recently cater our wedding a few days ago, and our guest raved about their friendly and fast service. Jeff (owner) was a pleasure to work with leading up to the big day. I would book them over and over again. You cannot go wrong with Detroit on the Rocks!

  One of the best decisions I made for my wedding

  I took time to find the perfect vender to serve alcoholic beverages at my wedding since our banquet hall did not offer this service. I had the pleasure of communicating directly with Jeffrey (Detroit on the Rocks) and it was the best decision I could have made. He was prompt, answered all my questions, was very friendly, took the time to come out to the venue to meet with me and prepare, and was sincere. He was flexible and adjusted our invoice in a timely manner as we made changes to our drinks list. Highly recommend.

  Best bar service - wedding

  They are the best!! We just had our wedding at Ypsilanti Freighthouse with Detroit on the Rocks and man did they do a great job! We did beer, wine, liquor and coffee unlimited, within a reasonable price. And lets all be real with each other, most places were upselling the crap out of poor couples this year with weddings but not Jeff. He gave me a reasonable price without the extra "service fee" of 18% at the end, which by the way brides watch out for that from some vendors and do yourself a favor and don't go with those people. Jeff and his team made our wedding the greatest. Everyone was merry from beginning to end and Ubered or Lyfted home of course. Thanks Jeff!!

  Detroit on the Rocks was 5 star from beginning to end. Really know how to plan on bartending for a large event and staff was completely professional and gracious to all our guests. We had an outdoor, backyard wedding for 200 with two bars, wine, beer, and cocktails. Jeff went out of his way to have all ingredients for “specialty” cocktails desired. We simply could not have been in better hands.

  Detroit on the Rocks did a great job at our wedding. Jeffrey worked with me over the course of so many emails I lost count to ensure that I was working well within my budget and also that the signature cocktails were exactly what I had in mind. I didn’t drink much as I was little busy getting married on my wedding day, but I did make a point to have all 3 of our signature cocktails and none of them disappointed! I will definitely be reaching out to Detroit on the Rocks next time I have an event that needs bartending services!

  Top-Notch, Very Professional & Helpful

  A vendor that clearly stood out from the others! I worked with Jeff to establish the bar service, and helpers for event setup / tear down. Since everything had to be brought into the venue, I was at a loss of where to begin. Jeff was extremely professional, very helpful, patient and responsive as he helped us tailor services to meet our desires. I had tons of questions and Jeff answered them all and provided additional information that I did not know to ask. He is just an upstanding man and so very helpful! I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.

  Truly amazing!

  I have nothing but excellent things to say about Jeff and his amazing staff at Detroit on the Rocks.
  
  To give some background, my fiancé and I were planning our wedding from out of state in a completely different time zone. Jeff was incredibly patient and understanding of our circumstance.
  
  We went with Detroit on the Rocks because we wanted flexible/accommodating but stress free wedding. Two things I sometimes feel are mutually exclusive, but Jeff made the impossible possible.
  
  Jeff walked us through the different options. We had the option of purchasing our own alcohol with their team to serve but he also gave us the option to purchase the alcohol for us. We personally went with the latter because this meant less planning on our end. This also allowed us to return any unopened alcohol, and all open alcohol was for us to keep. Jeff provided a very detailed list of exactly what alcohol and how much he was going to purchase. This was so helpful because my fiancé and I don’t really drink, so we’re so grateful Jeff provided clear direction/guidance! He let us make changes to the list as well.
  
  We had kids at our wedding, and we reached out to Jeff to see how we can accommodate non alcoholic drinks. He allowed us to bring in our own non alcoholic drinks to accommodate the kids. It was a hit not only with the kids but with the parents as well because they appreciated the thoughtfulness. Jeff’s team even brought a nice container to put the juice boxes on ice!
  
  Jeff’s team made sure everyone was very well hydrated at the wedding. People were able to get their drinks quickly, and everything tasted great.

  We could not recommend Detroit On The Rocks more! Jeff was incredibly easy to work with and extremely responsive. He provided great ideas in creating our signature drinks as well as input based on our custom bar menu and guest count. The bartenders at our wedding were so friendly and personable - so many of guests have still commented on how good the service was weeks after.

  These guys definitely made our night topnotch. They dealt with me changing the bar menu a million times and made a fantastic Berry Mojitos for our specialty drink. I had guests tell me howngreat they were and how they knew everyone's drinks.

  My family and I have used Jeff and his team for multiple events now and are happy repeat customers. The latest event was our wedding, which they did a stellar job at. I think they had just as much fun as we did as the team was always happy and having a good time. We also accidentally overpaid and they were the ones who noticed, reached out and refunded us right away. I could not recommend them enough, they are great to work with in every way!

  We are so happy we hired Detroit on the Rocks for our outdoor wedding!! They were quick to respond, very organized, and tons of fun!! They provided us a grocery list so we could buy our own alcohol which was so helpful. Everyone had a blast hanging out at the bars and the drinks were amazing! At the end of the night our guests wanted to continue the party back at the hotel and the bartender helped them pack up a to- go cooler. Everything about our wedding went perfectly and we are so glad Detroit on the Rocks was a part of that!

He worked hard to tailor the drinks and alcohol options to exactly what we wanted. He was also transparent about the costs, and he was happy to make adjustments to better fit our budget. He was there every step of the way and gave great advice on how to proceed with things we were lost on. On our wedding day, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our guests had a ball! We were married at the Belle Isle Casino which required all vendors to be handled a la carte! We worried about how well they would all work together and to our delight, Detroit On The Rocks had seamless service! The cynergy between them, our DJ, the coordinator, and the caterer was amazing! You would never be able to tell that they were all separate vendors. They came around to help clean, they served our wedding party, the sign for our signature drinks was so awesome we took it home to frame, and oh btw....drinks were AWESOME! I also recommend getting their custom made bar! It really made the look come together for the bar area. Nothing but great things to say about this team! We will be customers for life!

  Hired Jeff and his crew for my daughter's wedding last year. We weren't from the area where the wedding/reception was taking place, so we really had no idea who to book. The bartenders are polite, competent, and quick. Everything was set up on time and ready to go as soon as the ceremony was over.
