We are so grateful that The Collective Events team was a part of our wedding day. Meghan was our day-of coordinator. We got engaged at the start of 2020 and, like many couples, we had to change plans quickly and drastically to keep our families and guests safe. Meghan was our right-hand woman for the job. She communicated with us consistently, connected us to great resources/vendors, and made us (and our families) feel at-ease at crucial points in planning. Simply put, there are not enough superlatives to describe how phenomenal it was to work with Meghan and Chris on my recent mountain wedding in Aspen. From our very first phone interview through the big day, they blew us away with their professionalism, genuine enthusiasm, creativity, organization, attention to detail, and unquestionable competence. We interviewed 14 wedding planners, and Meghan and Chris clearly stood out from from the pack, to include those priced three and four times as high. These gals instantly put us at ease and helped turn a potentially daunting task coordinating over four time zones apart into a thoroughly enjoyable and fun process.

Meghan and Chris absolutely went above and beyond to understand our vision and bring our dream wedding to life, which which was no easy feat considering that—in addition to the wedding itself--we planned a huge covert operation to surprise my husband with a live 18-piece orchestra! No task was too big (or too small) for them to give 1000% focus and effort to perfectly execute our vision. From helping us pick out flowers, linens, signs, décor, lighting, welcome bags, and coordinating master timelines and deception plans to running interference with vendors and handling set up and tear down of three different sites, these ladies are the TOTAL PACKAGE!

It's been two months since our wedding, and our guests are STILL raving about how incredible and unforgettable the experience was for them—and EVERY single credit is due to Meghan and Chris' outstanding work ethic and dedication to making our day a truly one-of-a-kind event. We also received incredible and raving feedback from all of our other vendors who worked with Meghan and Chris.

The Collect!ve team is amazing! Chris and Meghan were so great! Their organization and attention to detail was so helpful when planning our wedding. We had an unconventional reception site with a lot of moving parts and they were able to make sure all vendors were on the same page for our big day. They were also able to think on their feet when little issue arose (thanks Colorado weather) and really cared about our happiness! We would recommend them to anyone!

I honestly can't say enough positive things about our experience working with The Collective. Meghan and Chris are an amazing planning team and just amazing human beings in general! They kept us on track and organized through every step of the planning process all while maintaining an upbeat yet calming attitude. We planned our wedding from Connecticut so it was invaluable to have Chris and Meghan as resources so close to where our wedding would ultimately take place.
We opted for the partial planning package as we had some of the major vendors already chosen and booked but we wanted some help in a few major places such as flowers and decorations. Meghan and Chris took our vague vision for our wedding (which to be honest was more like us just describing a general feeling we wanted to convey rather than an actual vision) and came up the most perfect decor theme that our guests are all still raving about.
If nothing else- I personally think the day of coordination is absolutely essential. There is SO much logistical stuff going on on the wedding day and in the days leading up to it. All I wanted to be focused on was being present in the moment and fully enjoying the day with my now-husband. I keep telling people that our wedding was perfect. In reality, I'm sure there were things that were not perfect or things that needed troubleshooting last minute but we were blissfully unaware thanks to our trusty wedding planners. :-)

Meghan is a phenomenal wedding planner! She is very detail oriented, organized & knowledgeable. Every time we met she had printed out checklists which helped monitor our progress & kept me on task. She was also very helpful in streamlining the process with her knowledge of what worked & didn’t work. Her “calm & collected” nature makes it very easy to work with her as well! Being on top of things is her MO & it makes for a smooth planning process as a whole. She is also very resourceful in working with whatever amount your wedding budget entails.
Hence, Meghan comes very highly recommended by me as you will not be disappointed in her strong & detailed work as an wedding planner!

Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy our big day! From the planning that began months out, to the day of, both Meghan and Chris were with us through it all! It was great to have their experience and perspective when planning (and timelines)! It was awesome to have vendor recommendations they have executed for other weddings, as well as working with us to find the right pieces to make our day truly ours! It was the best day for both us and our guests. We still have our friends and family telling us how great of time they had, and we know it was because of these ladies hard work! We had the pleasure of working with Meghan as our day of coordinator for our wedding in July. We had done much of the planning ourselves but knew we wanted someone to run the show so that we did not have anything to worry about on our wedding day. Meghan went above and beyond to make that happen. We met with her a couple of times before the wedding and even though I thought we had covered every detail, Meghan asked questions that brought to life aspects of the planning I would have never thought of on my own.
Meghan was incredibly organized and detail-oriented in the planning process leading up to the wedding, even though we only thought we were hiring her for the day of services. She communicated with us in a timely and clear way. Her minute to minute timeline ensured nothing was missed. She floated seamlessly between the groomsmen and bridesmaids while we were getting ready in our separate places, making certain everyone in our 20+ person bridal party was on time for each aspect of the day.

When we had rain on our wedding day, she coordinated with the photographer and videographer for a great back-up option for the first look. She even took pictures of our first look so I had a sneak peak of the whole experience long before my photographer sent us our photos. Meghan had already been in communication with all of our vendors leading up to the wedding and she shared the minute by minute timeline with them as well so everyone was on the same page. I couldn't imagine having had as perfect as a day as we did without Meghan.

My husband and I are eternally grateful for her knowledge, professionalism, ability to wrangle a large and rowdy bridal party, and clear passion for all things wedding. Do yourselves a favor and hire her for your day of coordinator--or even better, your full on wedding planner!
