Originally opened in 1915, The Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel San Francisco has been thoughtfully renovated while keeping the building’s integrity and the city’s spirit in mind. This is showcased in the glamorous makeovers of the venue’s iconic Spanish Suite and Redwood Rooms. When celebrating at this hotel, couples can share their big days with up to 150 wedding guests. In addition to ceremonies and receptions, you can also hold showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and elopements here. For more intimate occasions, the hotel offers minimonies for up to 25 guests as well as micro weddings for up to 50 loved ones.

    Nothing overlooked. Gracious service by clearly happy people. The entire team was "in" on our day. we felt like we were the only guests.

    We had and even got more than what we wanted. They clearly know their stuff and quietly enhanced just about everything. Exceeding our expectations seemed to be the mantra for the entire team.

    We stayed at the Clift 10 years ago and fell in love with it. When we started looking for venues for our destination wedding in San Francisco, there was only one place we wanted....the Clift! We worked closely with Devin during the months and weeks before our wedding on June 6, 2015 and she was always helpful and attentive to our questions and requests. We held our wedding ceremony and reception in the Spanish Suite with a cocktail hour in between held on the covered terrace. Every detail we requested was attended to and both the ceremony and reception were simply beautiful! We highly recommend the Clift as your wedding venue! Wayne and Anthony
