Stumbled upon Hotel Majestic through a blog when I was looking for "plan B" reception for our wedding. We knew we were on a tight budget, but we also didn't want to have a "sad" looking event. As we all know getting married in SF can cost an arm and a leg (literally and figuratively). My sister gave me the best advice when trying to cut cost, look for spaces that have "good bones" so you don't spend a lot of money making it look pretty! And we have to say, Hotel Majestic met that category- it's beautiful, it photographs well, and the slightest enhancements just made for a very elegant event.Sent on 12/07/2017
The second concern would be the food. I mean you spend the bulk of your budget on food, so food has to be good right?! Hotel Majestic knocked it out of the park! they are very willing to work with your budget and dietary needs! We had an intimate wedding of about 50 or so guests. The main entrees were cooked to order, seasoned well, and our guests continued to rave about how good they are! Not to mention, we started the evening off with passed hors d'oeuvres of mini crab cakes and bruschettas, the crab cakes are still top of mind for our lot of our guests!
OK so we're now 2 for 2, interior (awesome), food (delicious), now onto the 3rd component of this amazing venue, THE STAFF! Justin and his team are a dream to work with. We (or I) may have driven them crazy with questions, and demands but they all delivered with a smile and a really positive attitude. Their enthusiasm was evident with how our guests felt at the end of the evening not to mention their flexibility with allowing our event designer to transform this already amazing venue to an unforgettable evening, make that weekend! Our guests enjoyed their stay at Hotel Majestic as well! Highly recommend Hotel Majestic for its value and flexibility! Truly is a hidden GEM!
