Housed in a beautifully restored post-and-beam factory from 1901, the museum boasts a fascinating collection of intricately carved animals, chariots, and memorabilia from the golden age of amusement parks. Imagine exchanging your vows in the Main Gallery, surrounded by hundreds of antique treasures and stunning carousel art.
You are welcome to host your ceremony with us at no additional charge. Following your ceremony, the celebration continues in the charming ballroom upstairs. With its sparkling Venetian crystal chandeliers and ample dance floor, it's the perfect space to dance the night away with your loved ones. And with a reasonably-priced rental fee, you have the freedom to choose your own caterer and vendors to bring your wedding vision to life.
Best of all, your rental fee includes a full day of set-up, all tables and chairs, no need to add expensive rentals and your celebration supports the museum's mission to preserve and restore these works of art for future generations to enjoy.

Morgan Urgo is the Executive Director of The Carousel Museum and Museum of Fire History located in Bristol CT. Morgan has been in this role since 2019 and oversees all aspects of the Museum’s operations. A nationally recognized institution for the preservation of the Art and History of carousel figures, carousel archive material, and carousel mechanics, the Carousel Museum and Museum of Fire History are undergoing a bold strategic plan, including the establishment of its first Endowment, and Capital Building Campaign.
Morgan is currently a candidate for a Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) in Extension Studies, in the field of Museum Studies from Harvard University. She graduated from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire in 2003 with a degree in Drawing and a minor in Art History.
Morgan’s passion for Museums began in Museum education at the New Britain Museum of American Art. In addition to teaching and creating, she soon discovered a passion for fundraising and non-profit finance. Her twenty-plus years working in non-profit organizations has been with some of Connecticut’s finest institutions, including the New Britain Museum of American Art, The Bushnell Center for Performing Arts, and the Wadsworth Athenaeum.
