I live in Seattle and was looking for a florist for a special event near Santa Ana, and randomly stumbled upon Cynthia. I fully agree with all of the aforementioned glowing reviews for The Blooming Bud, so I won't repeat them, but will simply say, "CHIME." And I will briefly add that after quickly assessing my taste and my budget, Cynthia not only managed visual and aromatic beauty with her arrangements, she created *emotion* - in flowers. How many florists can do THAT? Those who saw the arrangements are STILL talking about them. #NotJustFlowers

As I began wedding planning, I quickly found all major vendors; however, a florist seemed to be a challenge. I knew very little about flowers and had no idea where to start. I found Cynthia online and met with her and immediately I knew she was the right florist for me. While I couldn't exactly express what I was looking for - she very quickly picked up on my vision. Cynthia was very great at communication and was flexible in making adjustments to make sure it was exactly what I was looking for. She repurposed a lot of my flowers and even stayed through the ceremony to ensure they were set up just perfectly! I'm still shocked at how beautiful my flowers turned out! They were stunning and Cynthia is great! I've already recommended her to future brides in my life.

Cynthia was absolutely amazing to work with! I am pretty much no help at all when it comes to flowers and she brought so many ideas to the table! She came with us to the venue and showed us all of the different arrangements she would be able to do. She did our Alter, the aisle, corsages, centerpieces, bouquets, all of the fountains on the grounds, all the decorative tables and bars, or cake and so much more. When I arrived I was in awe! Everything was so beautiful, I was absolutely blown away. Cynthia is an amazing florist and I would highly recommend using her on your special day! She's truly a pleasure to work with!

Blooming bud provided beautiful and vibrant arrangement at our wedding that received countless compliments from our guests. They provided exactly what we wanted and were always responsive and professional when we had changes to make. I would hire them again for any event I have in the future!

Cynthia got my vision. More than that, she translated a much improved version of my vision into something that fit our budget. I was enchanted by my flowers - I truly felt that no bride had ever had such a beautiful bouquet - which is exactly how every bride should feel. She also went above and beyond and helped my friends arrange our DIY centerpieces (read: not purchased from Cynthia) on the day-of. Truly a great artist and person.

Cynthia was absolutely great! Of all the flower vendors I met, she was the only one to take the time and put together photos/ideas of what she would do for our wedding, after we had discussed what I was looking for. It really helped make me feel more at ease with what we were going to get the day of the wedding.
Cynthia was responsive and accommodating during the planning process as I made several changes.
We had discussed using some of the flower for the ceremony again during the reception, and Cynthia stayed until after the ceremony to rearrange and place everything herself.
Also, on the wedding day, part of my (now) husband's boutonniere was smushed by people giving him hugs. Cynthia had brought extra flowers and immediately replaced/fixed it so they would look good for the photos. Both my husband and I are very happy and glad that we went with The Blooming Bud!

Cynthia is amazing!!! She created the most beautiful arrangements for my wedding last month. My husband and I were very confident Cynthia would do an amazing job with our wedding flowers and she didn't disappoint us. :) She met with us and we discussed ideas and she worked with us up until the day to ensure it all went perfectly, and when we collected the flowers (our request) the day before the wedding, the arrangements/bouquet's were everything we had hoped for and more! Cynthia is very sweet, friendly and only too willing to help. The flowers for our wedding were fresh and the arrangements remained looking fabulous for over two weeks! She's very affordable too! I found Cynthia on WeddingWire after doing lots of research on florists. Was on a rather tight budget for my wedding (for what we were looking to do, I suppose) and I reached out to Cynthia as she seemed within my price range. From initial consultations to the final day, Cynthia was very accommodating and was super flexible. We had several phone conversations where I changed my mind and she was great - never gave me a hard time about it. Cynthia is based in Southern California and I'm in SF, so we didn't get a chance to meet before the wedding, nor did I get a chance to see her work in person. It was a little nerve racking, but Cynthia did not disappoint! All the bouquets were gorgeous and unique (our wedding had a citrus theme and my bouquet had lemons in them, and the groom/groomsmen had coffee beans on their boutonnieres), and the flower girls' crowns were incredible. I would definitely recommend going with The Blooming Bud!

Cynthia was an absolute dream to work with. She was quick to reply to all of my inquisitive emails, and the flowers on my wedding day were absolutely stunning. I would hire her over and over again and recommend her to anyone in the market for event floral centerpieces and bouquets etc. She does stunning work, and she was so easy to talk to.

We chose a la belle epoque patina-on-copper color palette inspired by the 19th century illustrations of Alfonse Mucha, of deep orange, jade, and blue-green alongside faded peach, amber, gold, and ivory. True to our theme, our flower arrangements, designed by southern California florist Cynthia Sanchez of The Blooming Bud, were wispy, dreamy, and wild around organic metalwork: orange and blush garden roses, deflexus, and maidenhair fern in delicate antique silver vases of various shapes and sizes; two traditional copper horseshoes integrated into my wife's bridal bouquet; sunset calla lily boutonnieres braced with slender pins; tulips and jade satin along the aisle; and vines of jasmine, roses, and calendula draped gently around the wrought iron arch at our ceremony.

With Cynthia's help, our ceremony and reception were filled with beautiful, bright, and subtle floral details. (We're a same-sex couple, too, so she had to handle two bridal bouquets, etc.) She was on time, well-prepared, and coordinated everything wonderfully with our venue and we got hitched without a hitch. We couldn't have been happier with the incredible deal Cynthia put together for us, and throughout the planning process, she was kind, enthusiastic, flexible, and creative. We sent her a few inspiration photos at the outset and she sent us a quote describing the arrangements she had in mind, all within our budget, which helped us feel comfortable and gave us the sense that she'd be easy to work with. She totally was. Highly recommended!
