The first suit and tuxedo rental that doesn’t feel like one. We design and manufacture the highest quality product on the rental market, with an exceptional fit and a seamless experience. Our suits would retail for $1200, but we offer them starting at $95.

The Black Tux is about more than just a better rental experience, we've also created a better product. We only partner with top suiting manufacturers to ensure the best quality and fit. We use 100% merino wool on our suiting, 100% cotton for our shirting, and real leather for our shoes.

Fit is everything.

We deliver your suit 2 weeks before your event so you can try it on. If for any reason your items don't fit when they arrive, we'll do whatever it takes to make sure you have the right fit for your event.

Here’s how we make good on that promise:

1 - REPLACEMENT ITEMS

Need a different size? Let us know within 48 hours of receiving your order and we’ll ship you a replacement item for free.

2 - PROFESSIONAL ALTERATIONS

Sleeve or pant length a little off? Have a local tailor make adjustments. We'll credit your order up to $15.

Great rental company!

It’s so great that we had an option to rent a tux instead of buying it! The process was super easy and the tux (and everything else that went with it, including shoes and cuff links) was the highest quality and fit just perfect! The return process was also very easy—overall, we had a great experience with them and would highly recommend them!

Hassle free

last minute exchange for my husband's groom's men were easy and quick. we get t keep my husbands attire too for a very small fee. the costumer support responds very quick in real time.

Easy, affordable and hassle less!

As the bride, I of course had to decide on the groomsmen's outfits. "We" researched about a half a dozen suit rental companies in town and almost had to go with Men's Warehouse. Thank goodness we found Black Tux. They have a lot more color/shade options for suits than the others. We also did a groom try on to see how the suits fit and they were perfect. My sister-in-law and brother used them for their groomsmen too and my dad and brothers raved about how easy it was. The ordering, the fit, and the return was all so easy. As for the bride? All I had to do was sign in to the account we made and I could follow the process of the groomsmen step by step. Thankful for companies like The Black Tux!

Quality Suits!

Blacktux really worked out as an easy button for groom and groomsmen outfits. Finding a Nordstrom and going through some initial sizings and style preferences were simple enough, though I do have to point out how yellow the ivory suit jacket was in the Nordstrom store (thankfully not the case for the one I wore on the wedding day!). The process for choices mostly goes through a person and email conversation, instead of an online portal, so double-checking will be important to ensure everything you chose from the site links to what the employee picked. Watching the site for updates on my groomsmen, making sure that they went through the steps, was probably the easiest aspect, apart from the steps on the wedding day. The suits came in with plenty of time, they shook out nicely after time in the box, they fit great, and it was really easy to throw everything back in the original box for return shipping. I definitely appreciated those elements of simplicity coming from Blacktux.

It is okay

The groomsmen rented their suits for my wedding here. One had a lot of trouble on the website when he tried to order, so don’t let the boys try and order on their phones. Also make sure they try on the suits when they get it, to make sure that it is the correct size and fits. Three of my boys all had to return and exchange for a different size, so make sure they try it on. Any problem I had, I called and everyone has been helpful. Calling is a lot quicker and easier than waiting for a response through email. Otherwise the guys looked good in their suits on my wedding day.

Nice suit but terrible service

suit was nice, but no customer service, wrong sizes were sent, weren't very consistent and helpful. Luckily my husband look amazing!

Cannot recommend

I unfortunately cannot recommend The Black Tux as a tuxedo rental service. My father (father of the bride) ordered a rental tux from the Black Tux via Nordstrom, and not only did they fail to ship the tux in time, they sent the wrong pant size. Then, after multiple attempts at reaching customer service and being told that the items would ship, the next day we would repeatedly be informed that nothing had been shipped. Finally, the last item was sent to our hotel on the day of the wedding, but needless to say this was stressful and my father had already had to seek out a replacement. It was difficult to get in touch with a customer service representative and it was not at all worth the stress.

The Black Tux

0 Stars. Customer Service SUCKS!. My shirt was way too big, pants too tight and shoes too small. I contacted BT and I all I received were canned responses on how busy they were. My son, the groom, had to buy a shirt from Men's Warehouse because BT said they had none to replace his. Luckily his shirt fit me, I had to wear my own shoes and then just remember not to squat down for fear of splitting my pants open. A groomsman had to order pants from Men's Warehouse because they never responded. So not only did this too pay for a rental, they paid to have replacement garments that BT would/could not supply. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY.
After the wedding I contacted them via FB messenger - Nothing, no response. Save yourself the aggravation and use a different vendor.
They should at least reimburse those who had to buy garments.

Horrific experience and it's not over yet

This company has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!!! We had an issue and sent two emails and waited a total of 4 hours on the phone with no response. This was weeks ago. On May 18th I canceled the order only to be told they would reach out in 72 hours to complete the cancelation. NO ONE has reached out and it is June 1st now. There have been no refunds issued and there is NO ONE to talk to!!!!! My wedding is 6 weeks away and none of my boys (9 suits were ordered) have suits and are out $200 each. BEYOND DISPLEASED!!!!
