The Black Tent Photobooth

The Black Tent Photobooth was a hit at my wedding, especially with the kids! My family and friends loved the open booth set-up because they were able to fit 15 people in the photo. The equipment was state of the art and accessible to children. The props were funny and my guests loved using the signs that were available for the booth. The turnaround time for printing the photos were fast and I was able to use my own custom logo.

There were 2 booth attendants at my wedding and they were very friendly and accommodating to my guests. They came to the venue on time for set-up and kept the booth open longer than our scheduled time so our guests could enjoy the booth. At the end of the night, they gave us a soft copy of all the photos that were taken that night. The following day, our guests were able to retrieve and share their photos online.

My husband and I booked The BlackTent through our videographer, MiCha Videography so we were able to get a good deal on our package. We met in person for an initial interview, and followed-up through email until the wedding. Michael was very quick to respond to all of my questions through email so I felt confident about his services going into the wedding. On the day of wedding, I was very impressed by the staff's professionalism and I appreciated their help with making the photo booth a fun experience for my guests.

The photobooth is awesome. During the planning, they were very responsive and helpful. They were able to accommodate our requests. On the day of the event, they arrived on time, were professional and helpful. The booth is user-friendly and I love the fact that it has a video function. A lot of our guests really enjoyed it. The quality of the pictures and the output is really great.

Their photobooth was really a hit and pictures are for keeps. I would definitely hire them again and would recommend them.

I'll admit--we had a huge disagreement over the "necessity" of a $700 photo booth. In the limo on the way to the hotel after the reception? First words he said were that magical phrase every wife loves to hear: "You. Were. Right."

I'll start with the cons: The only downside to Black Tent is everyone thoroughly ignored the band and dance floor.

We met with Aenid just 2 months before the wedding. Shockingly, they were available. Aeneid just might be the nicest person alive, just as an aside. She custom-designed our backdrop and helped us draft questions for the video.

On the day of, they arrived ahead of schedule and set up very unobtrusively (I didn't even notice them until I wondered where all my guests had gone). The entire setup was classy--the layout and selection of the props....just everything!

3 days after the wedding, we had our online gallery. When we got home from our honeymoon, we found a package with the photo and video cd and a special surprise--a 4x6 picture of a VERY cute shot of my husband and I.

These guys are just awesome, fun, professional, great people. So if you're wondering whether to hire them, I say do it! And I'm always right :-)
