The Barn of Emory is a pastoral wedding destination situated on acres of idyllic farmland in North-East Texas. A purpose-built and family operated venue, its owners Joseph and Kathleen Uyvari welcome those celebrating their nuptials with open arms. It is an ideal setting for nature-loving couples who wish for a secluded, country wedding without compromising on creature comforts.

Cost

Sunday – Friday = $1500

Saturday - $2,900

Includes Friday to decorate and or Rehearsal

Additional night stay in fifth wheel - $50.
Includes fishing at our two ponds with poles provided.

• Each option includes reserving The Barn, tables, chairs, tablecloths.

• Each option requires garbage removal, and sweeping.

• All events with alcohol present must have hired security guards one week in advance.

• All events must obtain event insurance one week in advance.

• $1000 down at signing of contract.

• $500 refundable damage deposit require 1 month prior

Monday-Thursday $200 hr ( 4 hour minimum)- Restrictions

Facilities and Capacity

The corrugated iron facade of The Barn of Emory hides an expansive interior that is welcoming and spacious. Its ceiling rises high to rafters which are cloaked in delicate drapes, creating an atmosphere of fairy-tale, country elegance topped by an ornate chandelier. The venue can host a large gathering of up to 200 friends and family, and features both large floor space and an intimate balcony. Guests can dance the night away at the foot of the stage or relax and mingle at the bar. The barn is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities including a 4k projector, a crystal-clear surround sound system, and dramatic venue lighting. Furthermore, the premises is air-conditioned, ensuring guests can celebrate in comfort all year round. The properties grounds, in turn, present multiple outdoor ceremony sites to choose from. Couples can say “I do” on the banks of a serene pond, before exploring the vast meadows for an unforgettable photoshoot. Furniture, such as tables and chairs, is included with rental of the venue. There is also ample parking available for guests arriving by car.

Services Offered

The owners of The Barn of Emory, Joseph and Kathleen, pride themselves on making wedding dreams come true. They can help with the setup and cleanup of events, and are happy to collaborate with wedding planners. The Barn has an exclusive in house Florist, but DIY is welcomed. They welcome all other outside vendors and can recommend local wedding professionals. The management can also organize fun hay-rides which are a great opportunity to take memorable photos and see the farm. The staff invites couples for a tour of the premises before their big day and is happy to show them around and answer any of their questions.
