We had a great wedding at The Barn in late June. The benefit of The Barn is that the owners are pretty flexible. You have the venue the entire weekend, Friday to noon on Sunday, which is great for a DIY wedding. Outside vendors do not have to be approved (which makes the entire process easier), and the place really is a beautiful rustic venue for a wedding. They have tables and chairs so those did not have to be brought from an outside vendor; they have an ice machine and kitchen. Two bathrooms, one for ladies and the other for gentlemen. I found that sufficient for our approximately 120 guests. The owner is quite friendly. I spent a lot of time asking questions trying to figure out how best to execute my ideas at the space. On Sunday, you have until noon to clean up the things you brought to the venue.

I've lived in the area for many years but never attended an event at The Barn...was invited to a beautiful wedding over the weekend. Lovely location and we had a great time.

We had ours at The Barn in Tioga County and we were so happy that we did. Had the place for the weekend so there was no rushing our guests in and out......we even had a few that brought their campers and stayed right on the property. We were able to have our ceremony and reception right there which also made it much easier for out of town guests. The owner was great to work with. He helped with several questions and advice along the way.

Beautiful place, good value and a lot of flexibility to do things our way!

I had an amazing Fall wedding here.....Our whole group LOVED the place. We have several friends looking for a venue and we will definitely recommend The Barn!

We looked at several barn type venues.....the pricing was over the top! Most didn't offer tables and chairs or even bathrooms!! The Barn was a great choice for us! the pricing was VERY reasonable compared to other locations and just as beautiful! The place is very well maintained inside and out. We were able to work with all of the vendors (caterer, DJ, etc.) that we chose to use which is almost impossible to find in a wedding venue. It's set up so that you have the place for the weekend to allow time for setting-up and decorating...a big difference from being rushed in and out in a specific number of hours. Everything you need and a beautiful location for any style of wedding but especially for those who would like a "do it yourself" venue and don't want to fall into the expensive little traps that come with a lot of wedding locations! We arranged a last minute wedding at The Barn for my daughter after her original venue fell through this Summer. With 150 guests invited, this was obviously a very stressful situation for my entire family. The Barn was originally our first choice, but with all the other expenses associated with a wedding, we opted for a less expensive venue....bad choice on our part. Luckily, the owner had an opening on a Sunday for us. He was very flexible with our payment and gave us the opportunity to pay in a couple of installments given our situation. Following the wedding on Saturday, he cleaned up the venue overnight and made sure that it was available to us first thing on Sunday morning for my daughter's wedding. The wedding was wonderful and everything turned out great largely in part to the flexibility and help from Phil, the owner. He made a very last minute situation much easier and made it seem almost simple.....probably since he does a wedding every weekend! I really appreciated his help with it all. I post this not only in appreciation but in response to some of the rude nonsense in other reviews on this site. I would be highly skeptical of such lop-sided critical reviews as I experienced nothing but positive. Our group had a great time and I would highly recommend The Barn.

I attended a wedding here for a family member and I was very impressed! The Barn is beautiful venue and everyone had a great time! Our family would highly recommend such a nice spot for any wedding or event!

I attended a family wedding at The Barn and was very impressed with the place. It was very nicely landscaped and the interior was beautiful.....the chandeliers really make the place! It was a lot of fun in a very relaxed atmosphere. Everyone that I spoke to was very impressed. Being from the Washington DC area, I had never been to such a venue....a great experience for our entire family and worth the trip.
