The Assembly Room is an industrial building event space located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland. Looking for an industrial banquet hall in Baltimore? High ceilings, steel beams, and brick walls are a part of what makes this venue so unique. The large open floor plans give you complete control of the layout of your wedding ceremony and reception. It’s plain enough for you to be creative with it, but also just the right amount of plain in case you don’t want to be too creative. How about uplighting or drapes? The possibilities are endless. Real, yet raw.

Earlier today my fiancé and I came to visit The Assembly Room. To say we were blown away is an understatement. Our parents joined us for all of our visits and when they came in the space they looked around in awe. The exposed brick, the space potential, the high ceilings, the balcony for cocktail hour, and honestly I’m still thinking about the beautifully styled chic bridal suite and private bathroom. From the very start Kiersten was responsive answering all of our questions via email. She provided detailed information regarding prices and caterers. When we arrived her husband Beau gave us the tour and answered all of our questions and trust me we had many. After leaving, my Dad, who was originally confused at my interest in an industrial venue, said this is your wedding venue and I think he is right! If you are looking for a unique chic industrial space in Baltimore I definitely recommend checking this space out.Sent on 05/05/2018

From the moment we walked in to The Assembly Room, my daughter just feel in love with the space. The blank slate just made planning the wedding even more fun. Kiersten and Beau (Owners) have done a wonderful job restoring the space but keeping it rustic/industrial for anyone to come in and create their own vision.Sent on 07/15/2019
Anna, the venue manager, is just beyond AWESOME. She made the day even more special with her energy and bright smile. She was a HUGE help in the weeks leading up to the big day to the big day itself. She works tirelessly to help in anyway she can to make your event shine.
We have had so many compliments from guests on how much they enjoyed their time at the event.
We HIGHLY recommend The Assembly Room for your event. You will not be disappointed. Just sad that it is all over...

Amazing Industrial Venue!
We couldn't have been happier to have our ceremony and wedding reception at The Assembly Room! This venue was somewhat new when we toured it, but we knew as soon as we walked in that we had to have our wedding here. We loved the idea of an industrial venue with exposed brick and metals, and high ceilings. We were not looking for a typical/average run of the mill kind of venue. The space itself is huge, but for our 145-person wedding, the entire bottom floor worked perfectly so that we were able to have our ceremony on one side and reception on the other without flipping the space. The spaces were also sectioned off well with curtains/garage doors. The two built in bars are a huge plus. We used one side for cocktail hour/alcohol, and the other as a dessert bar. I recommend going with ceiling string lighting on both sides (inexpensive, but adds a lot to the space), and going heavy with the florals to make the bare space feel warmer. Also, embrace the graffiti! Such a cool and unique part of this venue, The great thing about this space is that it really is a blank canvas that allows you to make the space what you want it to be. We received so many compliments about the space. All of our guests loved it! Anna was also GREAT to work with and very responsive, which was a huge plus!Sent on 09/03/2019
