Facilities and Capacity
Tempe Mission Palms Hotel can accommodate up to 1,000 guests in their multiple event spaces. The Palm Ballroom is a flexible space that can accommodate receptions of up to 500 guests. As one of the most traditional areas, the Palm Ballroom has an attached foyer for your cocktail hour and is easily accessible. The Abbey is their more intimate space, which is complemented with a grand chandelier, large mirrors, and a private entrance and patio. The Cloister has an attached buffet room and a central location. It can accommodate up to 100 guests. The Courtyard is a garden with a fountain and lush garden. The Fountain Circle is perfect for grand wedding ceremonies and has a backdrop of Arizona State University and downtown Tempe. The Courtyard Patio is one of their more unique settings, as it has a fireplace backdrop surrounded by a garden. And lastly, the Poolside Terrace is perfect for an outdoor cocktail hour and reception. The hotel also offers their hotel suites for overnight accommodations, such as the Deluxe King Room, the Executive Room, and Junior Suite. A bridal suite is also available. Guests can take advantage of the available parking, or choose to use the valet. The venue is also wheelchair accessible.

Loved Tempe Mission Palms!

We had both the ceremony and reception at Tempe Mission Palms and couldn't have been happier! The ceremony was at the fountain in their beautiful courtyard that was blooming with flowers and the reception was at the other end of the courtyard under a grove of orange trees. It was a very intimate setting and the event coordinator, Kellie Mendoza, did such a wonderful job from helping us to plan the event until completion. Her professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding and was there throughout most of the event to make sure things went smoothly. Everyone commented on the food (we had the hors d'oeuvres reception and there was more than enough food for everyone and was delicious!)They contract with Sugarlips Cakery for the cake which was also delicious. For an event on the small side(we had 69 people) it was absolutely perfect!

We held our wedding ceremony at Tempe Mission Palms and I would definitely recommend this site. The staff is comprehensive in the planning and rehearsal process so I did not worry anything the day of the event. The grounds are gorgeous and we were able to get a ton of great pictures.

My daughter wanted to have her reception at a location that was close to Mill Ave , so her out of town guests would have a lot of different entertainment options during the weekend of her wedding, so I suggested Tempe Mission Palms. I am so happy that my daughter and son-in -law chose TMP. From the very beginning stages of planning,right up to the reception, absolutely everything about Tempe Mission Palms exceeded our expectations! I cannot tell you how many guests commented on the food! I kept hearing people say, "This is best food we have ever had at a wedding!" Additionally the staff went above and beyond for guests staying there. Every single employee was wonderful! Lastly, the wedding coordinator/catering manger, Kellie Mendoza was amazing! She was helpful, calming, organized, and just made the entire reception magically and worry free. Thank you Tempe Mission Palms for the best wedding reception and wedding weekend that we could have asked for!

I absolutely LOVED Tempe Mission Palms! It is such a beautiful location and the staff is very helpful. They made sure that everything was as we wanted and the meal selections were delicious! I am so glad that I chose Tempe Mission Palms for my wedding reception vendor!

I cannot say enough amazing things about working with Rachelle at Tempe Mission Palms! We had our wedding in the Palm Ballroom and our cocktail hour in the courtyard and everything turned out exactly how I pictured it! Rachelle and her team were extremely professional, flexible, and very easy to work with. I must have emailed Rachelle countless times with various questions, and she continually answered me promptly (even when she wasn't at work) and made me feel like I was the only event she was working on, even though I know how much business this place gets this time of year. On the weekend of the wedding, the staff made me feel at ease by taking care of everything for me. I was able to finally relax, sit back, and enjoy my wedding as the team at TMP did a beautiful job hosting our event. Thank you Rachelle and TMP for all that you did to make our wedding perfect!

Mission Palms was great to work with. They were responsive (a big plus since we were planning our wedding from a different state), professional, flexible and a wonderful value. They were able to accomodate almost every request we had, whether it was preparing meals for people with special diets or accommodating a few unexpected guests the day of. The staff was professional and friendly, and we feel like they went out of their way to make the day special.

a beautiful place for an outdoor wedding with a spacious courtyard for large or small ceremonies. a variety of reception rooms to fit the size of your guest list. a great value, amazing staff who are incredibly friendly, patient, and professional.

I got married on 12/5/2010 and my wedding was wonderful! I had a winter wonderland themed wedding and it went off without a hitch! Debby and the staff at Tempe Missions Palms were more helpful than I could have ever imagined. Leading up to the wedding Debby was very knowledgable and helped with every little detail of the wedding and was also very quick to respond to my emails or phone calls. I don't think I ever went a day without hearing back if I had called or even had a simple question. The food was catered through the hotel and it was DELICIOUS! Soooo good and the courtyard to get married in was so gorgeous. I would definitely recommend having a wedding at sunset because when the courtyard gets dark there are so many lights that fill the courtyard it was beautiful. I was worried I wouldn't get very good pictures because of the lighting but my photographer was awesome and we did pictures before the wedding on mill ave! And all the night pictures were to die for! At first I wasn't sure if Tempe Mission Palms was THE place but we took a chance and boy did it pay off. Debby worked with all my vendors and everything went so smooth! NOTHING was wrong on that day! And you get a beautiful suite with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries on your wedding night! Tempe Missions Palms is GREAT! :)

Best reception venue in all of AZ. Waitstaff practically did backflips for us. Pricing was great and food was excellent.

We stayed at Tempe Mission Palms for our wedding night. We had a very large room, comfy bed, great room service and fantastic food. Only downside was that breakfast is stopped at 10 a.m. and we missed it, even though we had vouchers.
