As I was planning my wedding, during COVID-19, everything kept changing. I cannot thank Ted enough for being rock solid! He was fantastic in communicating, he played everything we wanted and then some. Our timeline ended up being a bit off... he adjusted.

I knew that my dream wedding was not going to happen with the pandemic. But my dream of dueling pianos absolutely did thanks to Ted and his staff. He supplied a piano and PA for my outdoor ceremony. He kept my guests singing and dancing all night long.

I wish I could give him more than 5 stars.... but that is all they allow.

Best dueling pianos ever! Ted And his partner performed at our wedding , and it was an over-the-top fantastic experience. He is professional, a great communicator, and the talent and quality of performance that they brought to our wedding was without equal. We knew that we would enjoy the show, but we didn't know how our guests would respond. To put it into perspective, we had 150 people in attendance and at one point when I looked around, there were only 6 people that were not on their feet dancing (one in a wheelchair, and she was still grooving!).
I couldn't recommend them enough- people are still talking about how our wedding was the most fun they have ever been to... Ted was a key ingredient to that success! : ) Having Ted Oliver Productions at our wedding reception was the best decision we could have made.

Great experience! They performed at my wedding in the middle of the woods, and though I told them they would probably need to bring the small pianos instead of the large ones (small venue and lots of stairs), he insisted on bringing both sets just in case he could use the big ones (for an overall better experience). Great communication and willing to do what it takes to make your event memorable. Very personable and spoke with several wedding guests.

The dueling pianos have been talked about positively by all of our guests since the wedding which is great! As the people doing all of the behind the scenes stuff to make it happen, we had some reservations about a 5-star review. Contact was somewhat inconsistent (mostly due to their travel schedule, I understand) but generally the planning was simple enough.

The day of the wedding our biggest hang up was the MCing provided. While it was admittedly not something that's always provided by them, the hesitancy to keep to the reception timeline and interrupt left our photographer gently informing us that the time for the first dance had come and gone or that it was time to cut the cake. We would then check in so that the event could be formally announced which slowed down the flow of the evening. I'm sure no one else had a clue this was happening but I'll admit it was a bit stressful.

Aside from that, Ted Oliver provided excellent music which entertained and engaged our guests ultimately conquering any small inconveniences we experienced.

We are extremely disappointed in the Ted Oliver production. The music was consistently off-key and it was a struggle to keep guests on the dance floor. Even worse, Ted was rude to me and refused to listen to numerous requests from me (the bride) and others in my family to read the room and adjust his music accordingly. The only time that our guests really got up and danced is when Ted finally listened to us and put on music from his computer -- suddenly the dance floor was full. He had promised to have a playlist ready on his IPod to play in case our guests weren't responding to the pianos but didn't have one ready and was playing songs off YouTube (which quickly became apparent when advertisements were playing in between the songs). Ted also did not listen to any of our requests from prior to the wedding to not put us up on stage (which he did) and play certain songs. Moreover, Ted surprised us the day of our ceremony by bringing along an extra person to feed dinner (the boyfriend of his piano partner). Because of all of this, I was not able to enjoy my own wedding reception because I was worrying about my guests.
