Taras is an absolutely wonderful wedding photographer. He is kind, patient, direct, artistic, and very tall (a bit on why this is important). For my crazy Indian wedding, we hired Taras to take photos of my Indian bridal shower and the actual wedding day. He was on time and even when things didn't quite look pretty, he managed to make my photos look lovely. So here are some pros and cons.
Pros:
1. A value for wedding photography
2. He is tall. He manages to get shots when people are in his way
3. Kind. Weddings are stressful. He is not stressful. He does his best to keep his subjects calm.
4. No nonsense. He makes it clear what he can deliver.

Cons:
1. To keep his rates low, he is the only photographer. This is good mostly, but he cannot be everywhere all the time.

I really did not want to leave a poor review. He's extremely talented, kind, professional, and easy to work with. Problem is that we are on almost month 4 since the wedding and he has not given us a single picture. Tried contacting him through email, text, phone, and even facebook. It's been about a month since we started to try contacting him. No response. We have tried several times now, at least once a week. He told us before he left the wedding that he would post a couple photos within a week and then the rest in a month. We are at a loss now seeing that he will not get back to us! Facebook messenger shows when a person is active and he definitely has been on there since we have tried contacting him. We are extremely upset and wish he would get ahold of us. We are perfectly ok with the photos not being ready yet if that is the case, but it's really frustrating that he is not getting back to us. I will happily edit this review if things change in the future. We truly do like him and his work. But, this is getting ridiculous. I'm leaving this review in the hopes that he will see this and hopefully contact me or my husband.

Like the review below I did not want to write a bad review. I didn't want to have to be a cautionary tale to other brides but here we are. I have not been able to reach Taras for months. I have tried contacting him via phone, text message, email, facebook message and through his website. I am extremely disappointed in my experience. We did enjoy working with Taras at the time, and I will be happy to change this review once I get any type of response from him. My hope is that he sees this and decides to reach out.
