Beware ! Will slap with hidden fees and leave you hanging !!!

BUYER BEWARE⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ I would highly NOT RECOMMEND using Taking the Leap for coordinating services unless you want asked "what you would like" for everything after paying the quote provided and then slapped with a big unknown bill on your big day. You won't know about the remaining bill unless you happen to ask about it, and then she'll just completely leave you hanging a month before your wedding if you don't roll with it instead of trying to work with you and make it right by ANY KIND of gesture. Bad way to do business if you ask me. And a few others from what I can see on this page

You’ll end up disappointed, and then blamed for it.

Buyer beware! Not worth the $ that she charges! I hired this company to be my day of coordinator & that comes w/ “free” rentals. & she has to be your florist. It’s supposed to be her & an assistant. Promised day of, I wouldn’t have to do anything. Florals ($700+) weren’t worth it. The bouquet was so large that I couldn’t use it in any of my pictures bc it hid my dress & I had to hold it as low as possible or it’d reach my neck. 1 of the arrangements w/ macrame arch was supposed to be moved inside to use for a photo op at the reception that didn’t happen & florals on the tables were one stem per vase. The rest of the table decor was provided by me (goblets and pictures).
•She charged me for more flowers per vase/table than there actually were (about $200 too much).
•her assistant was ill, so my husband & FIL had to come & spend HOURS setting up for our ceremony-which Keli even said wouldn’t have happened if she had her assistant. It took so much time that my husband missed the fun his friends had planned for him prior to the wedding. AND our guests had to take their chairs back with them. The chairs that no one got-she didn’t even bring in-we found them outside the next day.
•She had all the desserts (ones that needed refrigerated) out by 2, when the ceremony was at 3, dinner was at 5. When I asked if these needed to be put away, she told me “it’s cold enough in this building”….I’m sorry but we are lucky no one got sick! Cheesecake does not need to be setting out for 4 hours! She also said my husband told her to put them out, but he didn’t.
•she wasn’t concerned about anything that wasn’t hers. I spent a ton of time on hand sanitizer favors with little paper butterflies glue dotted on them that I asked be put at each place setting-she put them in a basket where the butterflies came off. Butterflies were to honor my grandma. She left my friends’ antique runner rug that I used as my aisle runner OUTSIDE! It wasn’t until the next day that we noticed where it was and got it-thank God it didn’t rain or it didn’t get damaged. We had to put away all my decorations (which really was the just of it all-I think the only thing we used out of her stash was the macrame backdrop & some vases. & overpriced florals).
•she forgot the flower girl’s basket & I had to hunt her down to find the flower petals.
•she didn’t do a memorial/remembrance setup table
•Everything was set up by 2. she told me she’d break down things about 9 since the reception ended at 10….when in reality she was breaking things down by 8 & was gone by 9-at latest. I think it was earlier than that. I had the other vendors ask us if we needed anything more than her. She was NO WHERE to be found often.
•when I discussed this with her, she guilt tripped me, put the blame on me & refused to give any money back, when we didn’t get a $2600 product. She eventually gave me $340-the “profit from the flowers” (that she overcharged me for anyhow) & $40 for 2 dinners. She told me that “had you been here on time at 1, we could’ve made changes to your bouquet”….I was there at 2 & the wedding didn’t start til 3! When I said I couldn’t find her/she didn’t help wrangle people for pictures, as promised, she said that only applies to family & I seemed to have it under control so she went inside to take care of my guests. But strangely enough -none of my guests when questioned said they were ever helped by someone.
•There were SO many things missing that I brought to have out (signage, bathroom convenience care baskets, etc) even after instruction was given. I had goblets for all the guests but some set aside that were special that I said I’d give out-she put them out anyway so I was running around trying to get the right goblets to my special people
•I could keep going unfortunately. Wish I just did it myself.
