Simply Detailed Wedding & Event Planning is a wedding planning business located in Springfield, Illinois. Simply Detailed serves the Central Illinois Area from Champaign, Bloomington, Peoria, Jacksonville, Quincy, Litchfield and all areas inbetween.

Lyn Young and Marsha LaRocca decided to collaborate their talents in late 2017. They have both successfully planned and executed weddings and parties for a combined 15+ years. Together they have both creative and logistical talents that make them a dynamic duo. Thier passion is to design, create and execute their clients' vision into a real life reality!

Marsha has her own creative design company, MJL Creations, where she can create signs, clothing, drinkware, and much more. Her background in real estate and health care, make her a master at customer service. She loves helping with the design and the creative side of all her events. Marsha designed and created her daughter's wedding in Kansas City, that was picked to be published in The Knot's regional magazine Fall 2018 edition.

Lyn has been an events manager at Greene Gables Inn Bed & Breakfast, where she has worked with catering, event production and management. She loves the logistics with timelines and spreadsheets for each event. She has also been involved with Downtown Springfield Inc. and helped with planning events. She has helped DSI with their Farmer’s Market Street Dinner, Summer Festivals, and Annual Dinner.

Simply Implemented Package

“Day-Of” Services with 2 coordinators/planners, up to 8 hours on site the Day of and planning to begin 1-3 months in advance of the wedding date.

This package is for the couple who has completed their planning (or plans to do so) and is looking for help Day-Of to execute their vision. This package will allow you to relax and be a guest at your own wedding.

Simply Arranged Package

Our “Partial Planning” Services with 2 coordinators/planners, up to 12 hours on site the Day of. With planning and some design guidance to begin 3-6 months in advance of the wedding date.

This package is for the couple that needs help securing the last-minute vendors. You have the ceremony site, the reception venue, and the caterer booked now you need recommendations for the smaller vendors like the florist, photographer, videographer, or DJ/Entertainment services. You also know your vision and you have a few ideas on decorations, you’re just not sure how to execute the complete plan and you need a little guidance with the overall picture. This package allows you to be part of the process with a little help along the way.

Simply Designed Package

Our “Design Planning” Services with 2 coordinators/planners, up to 12 hours on site the Day of. With some planning and complete design guidance to begin 3-6 months in advance of the wedding date.

This package is for the couple that needs help with the complete look and design of their wedding. You have the ceremony site, the reception venue, the caterer, and DJ/Entertainment Services booked, now you need recommendations for the florist, photographer, videographer and guidance on how to take your Pinterest Board and make it into an actual wedding. You also know your vision, but you need and want some major help in how to pull it all together. This package allows you to be part of the design process, without the stress of trying to pull it altogether.

Simply Detailed Package

“Full-Planning” Services with 2 coordinators/planners, with up to 16 hours on site the day-of and planning to begin 6-12 months in advance of the wedding date.

Our Simply Detailed Packages offer complete creative direction and styling coupled with management and planning for every aspect of your event. It starts with an in-depth design meeting, ends with a full day of coordination, and allows you to enjoy the process while we handle all of the small, yet important details. We will be with you every step of the way! This level of service includes complete guidance in selection and management of your entire vendor team, full event design, and all the little yet important details on the day of the event!
