  Couldn’t have had the most perfect day without them

  You cannot get better with the match of personalities and attention to detail that Marsha and Lyn provide. They were present for our wishes and needs and made sure, even when we weren’t that our vision was followed. We would not have had the most perfect day without them. Thank you Marsha and Lyn!

  Fantastic Planners

  Marsha and Lyn were fantastic! We booked them for day of coordination and they were still available to answer questions throughout the planned process once we booked them. Marsha was the one who was present at our wedding along with an assistant. Marsha was amazing & handled all of the details, including ones we didn’t think of. There services made the day stress free which is what we were hoping for. Their services were one of the best uses of our wedding budget.

  Marsha and Lynn with Simply Detailed were exactly what we were looking for when we started to plan our daughter's wedding. They worked very efficiently - promptly answering emails, offering guidance, and handling concerns. Both have a great eye for detail, and possess all the practical skills and knowledge to pull a look together. You cam tell they love what they do! They were very personable and professional, and handled all the curve balls thrown at us with expertise and grace - exactly what you want from a wedding coordinator. We had a great experience with this team and would highly recommend to give you peace of mind so your family can truly enjoy the big day.

  They are the best!

  We recently used Simply Detailed's services for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding and reception. Marsha and Lyn are terrific people and fantastic to work with. They are so knowledgeable and were a huge help to all of us - my daughter, my husband and I, and the other vendors and they helped to make the day run so smoothly. For the first time, I actually sat, relaxed and enjoyed the wedding and reception without having to worry about all of the little extra details because they just took care of things unless it absolutely needed my attention. They are simply the best and I highly recommend them.

  Lyn and Marsha are absolutely the best investment you can make for your wedding! They carried out my vision for my wedding perfectly and made it so all I had to do on my wedding day was show up and enjoy the day. From making sure nothing is forgotten in the decor to communicating with vendors to setting up and tearing down, these two can do it all and I will forever be recommending them to anyone who is planning a wedding!

  The Whole 9 Yards

  Lyn and Marsha were our coordinators from moment one of our wedding. We got married our of state and their knowledge of vendors was vital early on. Later, as the wedding day approached, they crossed all the t's and dotted the i's in the contracts to make sure nothing slipped through the tracks. On our wedding day, they kept us at ease and Lyn even chauffered us around our venue (on a golf cart) during pictures, keeping us at ease. Our wedding wouldn't have been as amazing without these two at the helm.

  Fantastic!

  Marsha and Lyn were great to work with! They were very organized and so helpful with decision making! I didn’t get to get my decorations there until the day is and they made my vision a reality without me even being there. Highly recommend!

  The Dream Shower by Simply Detailed

  Wow, talk about a a DREAM SHOWER! Simply Detailed Wedding & Event Planning did not let one touch go unnoticed!
  From the moment you stepped into the shower space to the moment you left there were new surprises. I left the shower all smiles - for the rest of the weekend. Simply Detailed had the most creative things I have ever seen at any shower (I have been to a lot of showers!). The bubbly wall upon entry was so unique with a lush green background, the charcuterie cones were so fun, the balloon wall was done so well and perfect for endless picture opportunities, the drink table was so pretty with fresh flowers, adorable names for the drinks and gorgeous glassware set up. The luncheon table was to dream about! Oh wow, the glassware was perfectly set along with a monogram cookie, gorgeous menu and tall round balloon flying above the table underneath pretty floral arrangements. Have you seen a ice wine holder with flowers inside? Well with Simply Detailed events you can have them! Talk of the table. The desserts were mostly handcrafted with perfect positioning and floral additions. Hands down Simply Detailed is the BEST! Marsha is so kind to work with an listens to everything you want and need and wish for! She is a doll and you will be smiling for hours after your party or hosting a party with Simply Detailed!

Not only do they do the unglamorous "grunt" prep work of calling and visiting vendors, on the day of, their artistic vision also helps you tastefully repurpose various elements of the wedding (pew flowers became guest table flowers, etc). They asked questions I didn't even know I had to ask. Would 100% work with them again!

  Marsha and Lyn were extremely helpful to us in getting ready for our event. They helped with flower arrangements and decorations and setup of everything. They were happy to meet with us and were very helpful in making sure the bride’s vision was fulfilled.

  The Best Wedding Planning Decision We Made!

  Marsha & Lyn of Simply Detailed went above and beyond my expectations and were absolutely amazing to work with. My March 21 wedding had to be cancelled less than a week before due to COVID-19 and statewide restrictions. Prior to having cancelled, we had to find a new venue (~10 days before the wedding) because our original venue could not host large events. Without missing a beat, Marsha and Lyn worked to find me multiple backup venue options and communicated with all my vendors. Unfortunately, we were not able to go through with our wedding, but Marsha and Lyn took away all of the stress for me; they contacted all of my vendors to find alternative dates, assisted me in reviewing my contracts, and worked tirelessly to ensure that my anxiety was kept at bay! Since my wedding was scheduled on the first day of the Illinois stay-at-home order, this was truly an unprecedented situation for them, and I can honestly say they alleviated so much stress for me and handled it professionally and effectively. In these unpredictable times, wedding/day of planners should be a priority for all bride and grooms, and Marsha and Lyn are certainly up for the challenge! I cannot recommend them enough!!

  We just had Lyn and Marsha as our wedding planners this past weekend and to say they made our day seamless and stress-free would be an absolute understatement. Lyn and Marsha put me at ease from the moment we hired them (over a year ago) to help with our big day. Not only are they organized and personable, but I was completely hands off when it came to setting up our reception hall and it was everything I could have dreamed it would be. Our wedding truly looked like something out of a magazine and it's all thanks to their talent and creativity. The peace of mind I had all day because I knew they were handling everything was worth any amount of money, but their attention to detail and how much they truly cared for Zac and I's vision of our day is really what sets them apart. Thank you Lyn and Marsha!! You truly made our day fantastic!

  Marsha and Lyn were an integral part of our wedding, and my husband and I highly recommend them.
  
  I reached out to Marsha and Lyn roughly six months before my wedding. At that point, I was overwhelmed by all things wedding-related. They immediately put me at ease, and I felt confident that they could help me plan a beautiful wedding. I had no clear vision of what said wedding would look like, but they met with me numerous times to guide me through the process. They were also always quick to respond to my countless questions and concerns.
  
  Further, they contacted many vendors on my behalf, and coordinated with all of the vendors to ensure that the wedding was a success. And when there were random emergencies thrown their way - even on the wedding day itself - they remained calm and focused their energy on finding the solution that worked best for me.
  
  It is impossible for me to list out all of the things that Marsha and Lyn did for me before, during, and even after the wedding because they did so much. Not only was the venue decorated just like I dreamed it, but they made sure we were on time, delivered payments, and cleaned up. Prior to the wedding day they contacted and confirmed vendors, met at the venue to discuss layout, and developed a day of timeline. I can not say enough about how worth the money they were.
