Corrine and Meghan came to our rescue when our previous day-of coordinator abandoned us 45 days from our event. In just that short amount of time, they killed it! They familiarized themselves with all of our details and vendors in no time and set up great communication lines with all of them at record speed. They made sure we were all on the same page. I am a VERY type-A person and it takes a lot of effort and professionalism for me to let go of the reins and they absolutely made me comfortable with that. The day of, I was able to fully enjoy my day with 0 stress thanks to them. They were on top of everything. They were even able to facilitate care for our dogs who were part of the ceremony so I didn’t even have to worry about them. Again, I am absolutely the crazy dog mom type, for me to trust someone with them takes a lot. They took over the decor setup and took our vision and ran with it, creating a fairytale setting that was exactly what we wanted (more, actually). They were kind, professional, and friendly at all times. Our very experienced officiant who has worked with countless planners specifically mentioned how impressed he was with them. They were easy to talk to and incredibly responsive. We cannot recommend Shawfield Events enough to anyone needing wedding planning services.

I could not recommend Corinne and Meghan enough. It is beyond being professional, they truly care about what they do! They did everything I could imagine making my big day go as smoothly as possible. From a morning coffee, to fanning me before I walked down the aisle - they made the best team and the best help on my wedding day. One of their strengths is that they both have a great eye for design and decor. Our chuppah and table decor looked absolutely beautiful. WOW! Meghan and Corinne at Shawfield Events & Design are the absolute best!I had communication troubles with others/vendors so it was so refreshing when Meg and Corinne reached out to me or responded in a timely manner! I’m a very visual person and they created the most beautiful mock ups showing what the actual space would look like with the decor/look I wanted and it was such a relief to see what it would look like…absolutely what I envisioned! They were super quick to answer my questions, let me talk through my ideas with them, and even went looking for a few things that I was searching for for our wedding. Not only did they help me throughout the planning process but they were the best during the rehearsal and wedding day as well! I am so thankful for the peace they gave to us! We had some odd family dynamics and they made sure they understood the situation and were always ready to intercede. They also finished off the 'little details' at the venue so we didn't have to worry about them!

It was sort of a last minute decision to hire a wedding coordinator. As the day approached, I realized we needed help executing our plans so we could enjoy the day. What a great decision. We chose the Month of/Day of service and ended up adding the rehearsal package at the last minute as well. In the month leading up to the wedding, Corrine and Meghan helped us coordinate with our vendors, created a timeline for everything and made suggestions that helped us with finishing touches. When the day arrived, they helped with last minute issues like forgotten batteries, cake flowers, etc. At one point I texted them because I forgot to do something at the reception venue…it was already done AND they sent pictures to calm my nerves! I had a couple concerns once the reception began and they promptly handled those with the vendors. I cannot say enough good things about Shawfield Events. They are amazing…and had I known just how amazing, I would have hired them very early in the planning process.
