About

TAF Bethaday Community Learning Center is a modern wedding venue located in Seattle, Washington. This hidden gem is situated in Dick Thurnau Memorial Park and offers both indoor and outdoor settings for your big day. Your guests will enjoy breathtaking sunsets, gorgeous trees, a small lake and a charming picnic area at this 40-acre park. TAF Bethaday Community Learning Center is a Silver LEED Certified facility that can’t wait to bring your unique vision to life.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples can accommodate up to 150 guests at this scenic venue. Their one-of-kind space features modern architecture, wood planked walls, fire hose walls, cement slab flooring, roll up garage doors and earthy decor. For a grand affair, their Multipurpose Room is perfect. It features 1,328 square feet and three garage doors that open up to a covered outdoor patio. This unique space overlooks majestic Madrona trees and a tranquil lake. A catering kitchen is adjacent to the room. For a more intimate affair, the Assembly Room is ideal. This flexible space boasts 970 square feet, and features a gorgeous mural and spacious windows that look out to a native Pacific Northwest rain garden.

Services Offered
This full-service venue offers all-inclusive packages to make your planning process as stress-free as possible. Their versatile event facility can accommodate a variety of requests to make your special day everything you dreamed it to be. Each couple will have the venue for 10 hours the day of their wedding. There’s an on-site bridal suite where you and your bridal party can get ready, as well as plenty of parking for your guests. Tables and chairs are included with your rental fee, along with setup and cleanup. Additional services include:

Beautiful indoor/outdoor venue!

Bethaday Community Learning Space was a beautiful place to get married. It's located in a park and has great indoor and covered outdoor space as well. Geneva, Nia, and all the staff were very helpful, friendly, responsive, and flexible with our space needs as we changed the timing of our reservation. They made sure we had everything we needed at the venue and provided clear information about venue use and policies. It's a very reasonably priced wedding venue, and as a bonus, we supported a great nonprofit (Technology Access Foundation) by booking our event at BCLS. There are several rooms that are available, which makes it a flexible space for a wedding. We had a wonderful time at BCLS and recommend it highly!

My Wedding Day

Finding this place and deciding to have my wedding at Taf was the best decision for me and my husband made. It was affordable and has breathtaking views. The building in itself is beautiful. Everyone there was so friendly and very helpful with making our day special.

We are incredibly pleased that we chose to have our wedding reception at the Bethaday Community Learning Space. It is truly a hidden gem and we received so many compliments from our guests about the convenient location and beauty of the space. The staff was easy to work with and quickly responded to any of our inquiries prior to our event. The venue definitely helped to make our day feel even more special.

TAF is so wonderful. They made my special day possible at a wonderful price and as a non-profit building that serves kids in the area, the money goes back to the community. Super accommodating and it was such a wonderful day.

Beautiful, versatile space that is affordable and convenient. Everyone we dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional. I would highly recommended the space for a wedding or any event. Photos we took toward the west sunset view with filtered light through the trees were nothing short of stunning!!

We held our wedding here at the start of the month and could not have been happier with our venue choice. From the day we checked out the venue we loved it! Geneva and Kelly helped planning our wedding as stress free as possible. They were so quick to respond to any questions and really helpful with our constantly changing plans. (They are also just two of the kindest people!)

The space itself was great for a summer wedding. We loved being able to incorporate everything we wanted without having to rearrange the room throughout the event. The indoor/outdoor capabilities allowed for a natural flow from seated dining, to patio dancing, to fun lawn games (including beer/water pong). Many of our guest approached us throughout the night to comment on what a great space Bethaday is. One couple we know said they wished they'd known about it before booking their wedding venue.

I can go on and on about how great Bethaday is. Basically, if you're looking for really responsive, helpful staff, a beautiful space that you can make your own, and lots of free parking then this is the place to book!

This venue was absolutely perfect to have my wedding at. The only suggestion I have is that there be a garbage corset to the banquet hall for cleaning purposes. There is a garbage, but on the opposite side of the building and parking lot. It is quite a ways to trek at the end of the night with all the garbage. Even if it was pulled cost to the banquet room would be better :)

Other than that the space, the room, the accommodations, staff, and park are absolutely beautiful!!!
