We cannot thank Maurisa and Sweet Like Honey enough! We booked Maurisa for day of coordination for what we thought was going to be a small and simple wedding. And as it turns out, weddings aren’t that simple. Maurisa really went above and beyond from beginning to end with us, she definitely did way more than her day of coordination. She toured the venue for us, helped with vendors, regularly checked in, gave us great recommendations and really helped work with our vision and budget. She met with us the day before for a ceremony walk though and that really helped me mentally prepare for the big day. Our wedding was very DIY and it would not have come together without Maurisa. I was able to completely relax and just fully enjoy and experience the wedding day thanks to her. I’m so glad I went with her instead of others, I didn’t feel like a template wedding she really helped us achieve our vision and do what was most important to us. By complete chance (and pure luck), Maurisa happened to be available on our wedding date when our previously contracted coordinator fell through (only 2 months before our wedding). From the very first meeting with Maurisa, I felt I could take a breath, and felt a tremendous weight of worry lifted off of my shoulders; she instantly provided me with the feeling that she could handle our needs with ease! She has a calm demeanor, she’s knowledgeable, professional, thorough and detailed. Working with her was absolutely smooth and seamless. To say that I am beyond grateful for the skill and service that Sweet Like Honey provides, would be a dramatic understatement. Her team allowed me to focus on the excitement of the day, instead of worrying about the details. If you are going back and forth on the idea of hiring a coordinator, and you’re considering the SLH team as your vendor; absolutely hire them! My experience with them was so wonderful that I’m truly sad that it’s now come to pass.

We are so thankful we found SLH to be our wedding planner/coordinator! We are from FL and planning a destination wedding on the Big Island was so easy because of Maurisa! She is extremely professional and extremely easy to work with! Every time we got off a phone conference with her we immediately felt less stressed because we knew she had everything covered for us!!
