Susan's pictures were absolutely beautiful. She was really able to capture the feel of our ceremony, reception, and the scenery in a natural and candid way. We received so many compliments from family and friends on how great the pictures were! I am still looking at them months later!

Susan was wonderful! I spent lots of time searching for a wedding photographer that produced a classic yet modern spin on photography at an affordable price, and Susan fit the bill perfectly! Unfortunately, my husband and I did not have an opportunity to meet her prior to the wedding; however, she was so personable and easy to work with, it did not matter in the least. She immediately made us feel comfortable. Also, we were very pleased with the quality of the shots captured. Susan gave enough direction in posture/body placement/etc. to ensure the photographs were beautiful but enough freedom for us to be ourselves.

The turn-around on the pictures was extremely quick -- about three weeks. I've had plenty of friends who had to wait months for their professional wedding pictures! The proofs were hosted online, which made it easy for my family and friends to see and enjoy. We received countless complements on the beauty of the pictures.

I would strongly recommend Susan to anyone looking for a fantastic photographer in the Charlottesville area. We couldn't have been happier with our wedding pictures!

Susan was GREAT & very reasonably priced. We considered going with more expensive options, but in the end were so happy with her work. Many guests commented on how unobtrusive she was, and the posed pictures didn't take too long, so we were able to enjoy the reception. Most importantly, the pictures came out beautifully & really captured the day. Great work!

Susan was able to preserve for us the emotions as well as the memories of the day. She had an amazing ability to be completely unobtrusive and yet never missed a shot! My fiancé hired Susan to capture his proposal and we could not have asked for a better experience! We were coming from out of state and (I found out later of course) my fiancé had sent her digital photos of us he wanted to be set up for the proposal. She printed the photos, purchased frames for them and purchased flowers, arrived at the venue (King Family Vineyard) early to set them up on tables and sneakily got pictures of us during a private wine tasting, then as we walked out to the stables where my fiancé ultimately proposed. She got tons of candids of the actual proposal then did a posed shoot with us at the vineyard. She was so personable and made the shoot fun & memorable. The pictures turned out amazing. She was a little slow in responding to some of our later inquiries, but not enough to prevent us from booking her to shoot our wedding at King Family in August 2015! Oh, and we got a great value for what we paid. Can't wait for the wedding! Thanks, Susan!
