We knew we had to book Jordan and Aneila after seeing them photograph two of our dear friends, Allison and Tanner Jonske, at their Richmond wedding. The moment we saw their work, we were intrigued.

We were married in a historic chapel in Powhatan just two days after Christmas, and Jordan and Aneila captured our intimate, cozy winter wedding more beautifully than we could have imagined.

People in the photography world might describe their style as "documentary," but honestly, I'd describe it as stepping into a box of treasured family photographs from the '90s. There's a simplicity and warmth to their work that feels deeply nostalgic in the best possible way. The candid moments. Kids being kids. Couples tucked close together. I cannot recommend Jordan and Aneila enough if you are, like me, someone who does not enjoy posing for photographs and wants to capture a documentary style version of your wedding day. Looking at our photos brings me so much joy because it is like walking through my memories of the day, PLUS getting to see all these other beautiful moments our guests were having. I just love them - they captured the setting, the mood and the details without ever feeling like we were at a photoshoot. We did do one quick set of photos just the two of us as the sun was setting and Jordan gave great direction there - we got beautiful pictures of the two of us that i will treasure, with minimal fuss. Again, if you are looking for documentary style these are your people!!!

I just realized I never posted a review for the wedding that Jordan and Aneila shot for us in Philly in August of 2016. Combating the worst in glaring sunshine and plastic cup-melting heat, they were on the ball at every step of the way, graciously directing posed photos, but mostly being ready to capture all the most emotional moments of our wedding. Looking back, the posed photos are beautiful, but the picture of me and my dad crying while we dance brings all that emotion flowing back. If you book these two, be ready to have a record of your most meaningful moments. I felt like they were in love with the art and the experience much more than just a "job." Thanks Jordan and Aneila!

I didn't know Jordan and Aneila before searching for wedding photographers - I'm so happy we found them! They are an extremely awesome couple. Their photography packages are extremely wedding budget friendly. I love that they work with film and digital - they are so talented! Jordan was quick with replies to any questions I had. They even adventured to a city close to me and my husband so we could meet and take engagement photos. It was a pleasure to work with them and I hope to work with them again one day. It's one thing to just hire photographers but it's another thing to hire photographers who feel like friends!

Jordan Baker and his wife travelled to Franklin, PA to photograph our daughter's wedding. They were very easy to work with and very accommodating. They worked hard to get "just the right shots" before the wedding and they were very unobtrusive during the ceremony.

We are waiting to see the final pictures but have enjoyed the teasers. Jordan does amazing things with black and white photographs.

My husband and I highly recommend Jordan Baker Photography to anyone who is looking for a photographer for a wedding or an engagement session! Jordan shot our wedding last August and his pictures were beautiful. He was very professional throughout the entire wedding process, and we were very please with the photographs that we received! We enjoyed the fact that Jordan and his lovely wife were both very personable and easy to get along with, and this made it easier during stressful times. They were flexible with our busy schedule before and during the wedding, and were willing to go that extra mile to make sure we were not disappointed with our finished product. We met with Jordan on two separate occasions before the wedding, which was nice for getting to know the photographer better, as well as going over details for the wedding. During the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and the actual wedding Jordan did an excellent job. Despite challenging conditions (Rainy weather, dim lighting, etc.) Jordan remained professional and never failed to capture a moment. We received our photographs within 2 months of the wedding and they were stunning. We then selected our favorite photographs from that day and Jordan created a gorgeous book for us titled, "The Best Rainy Day Ever" (If you are having trouble coming up with a title they are very willing to help with that as well!) After the wedding we have still kept in contact with Jordan and his wife and have recommended them to several of our friends. We were very satisfied with Jordan's work and there is no possible way that we could give them any less then 5 stars!

Jordan and Aneila shot my wedding and I could not be more happy with our choice! Not only did our pictures turn out great, but the couple was fun to work with and put off a great vibe. My husband and I were looking for a photographer that wouldn't be posing us during the entire wedding, as having a good time was more important to us than getting our picture made. Jordan and Aneila were perfect for this because they have a photojournalistic style, so they are focused on capturing real-life moments and being very unintrusive.
