We had Tommy for our DJ this past weekend and he was so awesome!!! I wanted the dance floor packed and he did it! We had a range of people from ages 14 to mid 80's and everyone was dancing!!!! My husband and I both had an absolute BLAST!Tommy was really personable and had everything under control :) My husband and I didn't have a lot of "must play songs" but we did have instructions on what kind of music to play and Tommy was fantastic :)

We had a brunch wedding during the day and then in the evening had a big dance party. We hired the NERDS to play at night and if you would like them to bring their DJ to spin in between their sets, Supersonic DJ is who they send. Warren was our DJ and while he was very nice and professional- he did not play the music we wanted him to play. We gave him a very clear must play and a don't play list- with notes on when to play what kind of music. He listened to the don't play list & took care of the must play (mostly classic rock songs) list for the first few hours. We specifically said that we wanted to end the night with hip hop. We gave him a list of about 7 songs & said that he could add some songs that were similar in style if need be. When the NERDS ended, Warren started his set with "Mony Mony"... definitely not hip hop! My husband left the dance floor to tell him this is not hip hop, and his response was "look at the dance floor"... he was right - people were dancing... but it's not the music we wanted to hear! We dropped the issue & let him do his thing because we didn't want to stand there & fight with him. We figured he would ease into some of the hip hop we requested, but he didn't he continued to play the typical "wedding" songs that we did not want. He said he "knows what he's doing, he's been doing this a long time". I don't care how long you've been doing something- if you've been doing it for so long, you should know to listen to what your are asked to play regardless of whether you want to play those songs or not. We were very unhappy.
