Helping couples feel confident and relaxed through a foundation of friendship + timeless, fashion inspired storytelling direction and posing that honors your unique love authentically, is what brings me true joy.
Preserving memories is my passion! My parents wedding album from 1979 is one of my most cherished possessions. It's like a story book I can revisit over and over feeling the love spill out of the pages into my heart.
Wedding days can feel like they drift by in a haze or even in haste. From the feel of the wedding dress on your skin, or the moment your eyes meet your true love, your 1st kiss as a married couple, to the scrumptious taste of dinner, the sweet aroma of wine and the last twirl on the dance floor before bidding farewell to your guests, you should feel relaxed and at ease to simply cherish each and every moment.
Weddings are my passion because it brings out all of the love, laughter and light that humanity is capable of & that EVERY couple deserves to enjoy without stress or anxiety.
When the guests have gone, the decorations are put up, the flowers wilted, the last morsel eaten and the last song played, I desire for you to relive the day through storytelling imagery + video that generations to come will cherish. Your love is beautifully unique and I'd love the privilege of telling your story.

The Magical Photographer
Crystal did our wedding, engagement and separate photo shoot. She is magical and knows how to catch the right photos. We were very pleased and impressed. We're hoping that we will have more reasons to have her take our photos again!
My husband also is self conscious about his smile and she made his natural smile come out. In the photos she took, I was able to show my husband what I see daily.

Crystal is the best photographer ever!
This review is long overdue, and that may be because I am unable to explain how great Crystal is in words. The amount of stars and good comments I give her still would not do her justice. I wish I could give her way more than 5 stars! We hired Crystal to shoot our wedding and she went beyond my expectations. During our engagement photoshoot Crystal made us feel safe and comfortable. She made us laugh, which got us to actually take kissing photos with ease. The engagement photos were BEAUTIFUL and captured us with the flowers perfectly. Crystal was awesome during our wedding! She made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world. Unfortunately someone stepped on my wedding dress during the ceremony which caused the train to become black. I was upset, and just told her it was whatever. She reassured me that she was going to make sure the photos do not show the black train confidently. She positioned me and my dress perfectly to where there was no black in any of our photos! I am super grateful that she did her best to make me feel happy and gorgeous. She was in charge during the wedding photos after the ceremony. She put the groomsmen in check, which I was appreciative for because I did not want to be a bridezilla. Crystal really helped me out; I am so thankful for Crystal’s hard work. I will always cherish our wedding photos because of Crystal! I will most definitely hire Crystal again for any other photography needs!

I would highly recommend Crystal.
My husband and I really connected with Crystal since the very start. She is easy to work with and has a great eye.
Bonus she is super funny and made me laugh to get the best pictures. Our wedding album is spectacular. I will always remover the memories of my wedding with the stunning pictures crystal took of us.

The Best, Hands Down
My fiancé and I had never had professional photos taken before and were a little anxious. Crystal knew exactly what to do, which poses would look amazing, and gave clear direction the whole way through our engagement session.
She braved the mosquitos, expertly played around with lighting, and made a run down walking trail look incredible.
She went the extra mile by driving an hour and a half to us, AND re-edited some photos for me to my liking.
I so look forward to our wedding day and can't wait to see more of her awesome work. I also look forward to booking a one-on-one portrait session when I'm done with my weight loss journey.

Amazing Experience with Summer Bear!
We were so happy with Summer Bear as our wedding photographer. She gave us great ideas for shots when we walked the venue before the day and came up with some amazing shots on the day that are our favorites! We didn’t want conventional shots, and she gave us some beautiful artistic photos along with the family shots. She was affordable, dependable and a joy to work with. I would highly recommend her for your wedding.

This is the photographer you want for your wedding. She is incredibly fun to work with. She is also very talented and dedicated to her work.
I chose Crystal Summer Bear from many photographers on Yelp because she was the most responsive and I liked her portfolio on her website. She was also seemed invested from the start, and she had a competitive price with flexible options that worked for us.
I couldn't have been more pleased with our experience working with her. She is very professional and efficient. Such an amazing experience!
I highly recommend Summer Bear Photography! She made the overall experience of our engagement session so fun. For two people who are extremely camera shy, she made us feel so comfortable. The quality of the pictures were excellent and I absolutely love how they turned out.
