We had the absolute best experience with Sukran. She altered my daughter’s Amsale wedding dress, my Ann Barge MOB dress, and both the groom’s and father of the bride’s tuxedos. From the very first fitting to the last, everything was seamless—on time, precise, and stress-free. She was so lovely, kind, and informative, always remembering every detail we discussed. She even helped us prepare the dresses for transport to our destination wedding in Colorado, which gave us such peace of mind.

Sukran was an absolute gem! With only six months to plan my wedding, I found an Eisen Stein Audrey dress off the rack that was nearly perfect, and Sukran made it truly magical! She tuned into my vision right away and meticulously tailored the dress. She transformed the bodice into something truly elegant by layering extra lace from the hem, creating the dress of my dreams. Sukran also tailored my husband's tuxedo, making sure everything fit perfectly and helping us find the ideal vest and tie pairing. She’s kind, talented, and I can’t recommend her enough!

Sukran did a phenomenal job with my wedding gown! She altered it to fit perfectly, and got everything done with time to spare before the wedding. She made an absolutely beautiful veil out of an extra train/extension that came with my dress. It matched great with the gown and fell at the perfect length with my train.

Sukran was extremely flexible working with my work schedule to meet with me for fittings, and was able to get started as soon as my dress came in. She even was able to take on two bridesmaids dresses I needed altered for weddings within 2 months of my own, and got them done early as well! Her work was top-notch. I referred my best friend to her for her wedding gown, and strongly recommend Sukran to anyone looking to get their gown altered!

I can't say enough about Sukran and how perfect she is both professionally and personally. Before I visited Sukran's Bridal, I have already been to some other bridal stores, but none of those visits gave me the impression of "that's the one." Once I walked into her store, she was so professional and definitely got me from the very first moment. She works with her husband at the same store. Both of them are great people. They were so welcoming and kind to me when we met. She first tried to figure out what type of bridal gowns I had in mind for my big day, then she pulled out several gowns. I guess I tried six gowns, and at each try, I was quite fascinated and fell in love with each dress I put on. She doubtlessly understands your expectations thoroughly and responds what you exactly ask for. She is also very good at tailoring. She was very open to any custom alterations that I requested, even they were some big changes in the dress. I decided to work with Sukran without hesitation, which was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My husband rented his tuxedo from Sukran's store as well. He was also very happy with his choice. I recommended Sukran to one of my bridesmaids, and she was feeling very happy in her dress at the end. All in all, Sukran never frustrated any of us and her store is most definitely the best in town. In our wedding night, everyone fell in love with my bridal, and I still hear great comments about it from families and friends. I can't thank Sukran enough! She made my big day! I truly felt gorgeous in the dress.

Beyond all, I would like to thank Sukran again and again for being so kind, helpful, hands-on and always responsive. Until the wedding day, my work schedule was quite packed. Whenever I called her to reschedule our appointment time or request some alterations in the dress (even two weeks before the wedding), she never said no. She always called to update me about the bridal. Her help lifted a weight off our shoulders. She made everything great and stress-free for me. She is a true lifesaver.

Sukran made my wedding dream dress come to life!! From the moment I walked into her store I knew she was the one I wanted to work with for my big day.

I called Sukran prior to coming and described what kind of dress I was looking for. She had a variety of dresses pulled out for me upon my arrival, ready to try on. She was so warm and welcoming and I was really looking forward to working with her.

I chose a Maggie Sottero gown. The gown was sweetheart neckline. I was interested in something off the shoulder, so Sukran suggested that we ordered extra lace and she could make detachable off the shoulder straps. Her creativity and dedication to making me look and feel amazing was incredible. She went above and beyond and created the most fabulous wedding dress I could have ever asked for.

Sukran is professional, experienced and all around a wonderful woman. She truly cares about making her clients happy. She was punctual and always and kept me up to date with everything throughout the whole process.

In the end, I found everything I was looking for from a wedding dress experience, and then some. I cannot express how great it was to work with someone who cared so much about my happiness.

There are so many reasons to love Sukran, I don't know where to start!! First off, I bought my dress in NYC; I live in Westport; my family lives in England; I was married in Virginia. Who knew this would present such a wedding dress altering nightmare!. After trawling through all of Connecticut, I found Sukran, who was so accommodating and kind, I knew right away I was in good hands. And by the time she was done expertly cinching, pinching and winching I looked every bit as lovely as I hoped I would and she was as good as family to me.
