We had the absolute best experience with Sukran. She altered my daughter’s Amsale wedding dress, my Ann Barge MOB dress, and both the groom’s and father of the bride’s tuxedos. From the very first fitting to the last, everything was seamless—on time, precise, and stress-free. She was so lovely, kind, and informative, always remembering every detail we discussed. She even helped us prepare the dresses for transport to our destination wedding in Colorado, which gave us such peace of mind.
Her professionalism and talent are unmatched. I highly recommend her to anyone in need of an expert seamstress for a special occasion or any alteration that requires true skill. HIGHLY recommend!

Sukran was an absolute gem! With only six months to plan my wedding, I found an Eisen Stein Audrey dress off the rack that was nearly perfect, and Sukran made it truly magical! She tuned into my vision right away and meticulously tailored the dress. She transformed the bodice into something truly elegant by layering extra lace from the hem, creating the dress of my dreams. Sukran also tailored my husband's tuxedo, making sure everything fit perfectly and helping us find the ideal vest and tie pairing. She’s kind, talented, and I can’t recommend her enough! -

Sukran did a phenomenal job with my wedding gown! She altered it to fit perfectly, and got everything done with time to spare before the wedding. She made an absolutely beautiful veil out of an extra train/extension that came with my dress. It matched great with the gown and fell at the perfect length with my train.
Sukran was extremely flexible working with my work schedule to meet with me for fittings, and was able to get started as soon as my dress came in. She even was able to take on two bridesmaids dresses I needed altered for weddings within 2 months of my own, and got them done early as well! Her work was top-notch. I referred my best friend to her for her wedding gown, and strongly recommend Sukran to anyone looking to get their gown altered! -

Aria Sent on 02/15/2018Sukran made my wedding dream dress come to life!! From the moment I walked into her store I knew she was the one I wanted to work with for my big day.
I called Sukran prior to coming and described what kind of dress I was looking for. She had a variety of dresses pulled out for me upon my arrival, ready to try on. She was so warm and welcoming and I was really looking forward to working with her.
I chose a Maggie Sottero gown. The gown was sweetheart neckline. I was interested in something off the shoulder, so Sukran suggested that we ordered extra lace and she could make detachable off the shoulder straps. Her creativity and dedication to making me look and feel amazing was incredible. She went above and beyond and created the most fabulous wedding dress I could have ever asked for.
Sukran is professional, experienced and all around a wonderful woman. She truly cares about making her clients happy. She was punctual and always and kept me up to date with everything throughout the whole process.
In the end, I found everything I was looking for from a wedding dress experience, and then some. I cannot express how great it was to work with someone who cared so much about my happiness.
I HIGHLY recommend Sukran for any wedding or formal event. She will not let you down!!

Sukran is an amazing seamstress, and such a wonderful person to work with. I bought my dress from her, but with her alterations, she made me a dress that was custom fit for me. I felt amazing on my wedding day and didn't want to take it off! I felt so beautiful. My husband rented his tux from Sukran as well, and was very happy with it. Thank you, Sukran!

Horrible do not use!
I was horrified with the outcome of my wedding dress alterations. I had seen Sukran a few times over the span of 5 months for fittings, and during my last fitting, I was appalled at how it turned out. The bodice was way too big with at least a handful of material (about 3 inches) extra and the beautiful off-the-shoulder fold looked horrendous. I was alone at my final fitting and pointed out both areas of concern to which she told me the bodice was "just my body" and the off-the-shoulder part after pointing it out she grabbed a needle and sewed it which I think actually made it worse and then when I said it was sitting oddly she told me it could be fixed with double-sided tape. Double-sided tape was her answer after I paid $900 for her to alter it!!! To say I was disappointed was an understatement and I asked her to fix it and if there was anything she could do and she said no, only offering tape and blame on my body. The dress was unwearable so a week and a half before my wedding I had to go out and purchase a brand new dress!!! Not only did I have a ruined unwearable $4,000 dress I had to go out, purchase a new dress, and find another seamstress to alter the dress within 11 days of my wedding!!! The worst part was every time I saw her over those 5 months my dress had pins in it so I had no idea the outcome would be so terrible. All I've asked in return for the horrible work that was done and the impossible situation she put me in was to be refunded the money for the alterations and she has been unresponsive to the request. She also made me pay the whole $900 alteration fee upfront which I've now found out is unheard of in the seamstress world and should never be done. DO NOT take your items here and definitely don't bring your wedding dress because not only will she not alter it correctly she'll blame you and your body for her horrible work. I'm still hoping she'll come around and realize she destroyed my $4,000 dress, making it unwearable on one of the most important days of my life and do the right thing and refund me. -
