I'm so excited to book my hair, makeup and nail appointment for my wedding day with Sugar House. I've been getting my mani/pedis here for years and they're truly top notch!

I used SugarHouse Day spa to get manicure and pedicure done for myself, my sister and my mom a couple of days before my wedding. The spa was very accommodating in scheduling the three of us together so we can chat while we get pampered. I called a few places, and this was the only one that could accommodate 3 people to have a pedicure at the same time. The nail specialists were fabulous- very friendly. My mom and I had gel manicure done and our nails looked great! They lasted even after we abused our hands with the last minute wedding preparations. Then entire spa environment was very relaxing. It was a great time and I plan to come back again.

Emmy Vu did my makeup on my wedding day, and she was the BEST. So professional and friendly. Even my mom was thrilled with her work, and my mom is VERY picky when it comes to makeup. :) Emmy didn't cloak me in makeup - she enhanced my features so that I looked like myself on my wedding day - just what I wanted. I felt beautiful and LOVE how I look in all my pictures. Thank you, Emmy! You're fantastic!

I am from California and had to find someone to do my makeup and my daughter's makeup for her wedding in DC. After several disasters at other places, I heard about Emmy from a friend. She was fabulous! We did a trial run and based on the results, hired her for the wedding. She did a smokey eye look for me, with false eyelashes that looked very natural. For my daughter, she looked fresh and elegant without looking too made up. Emmy came to our hotel, was on time (even early), put us at ease, and did a fabulous job. I HIGHLY recommend Emmy!

I have been going to sugar house for years, and there is no where else I would have gone on such an important day. I had never gotten my make-up done there, but the make-up artist lived up to my expectations of sugar house. They are just great!

I can't compliment this salon enough. I got a facial and a Brazilian two days before the wedding and both were my first (I know, stupid idea, but I'm too cheap to do them regularly). Amy gave both to me and she was amazing. The Brazilian was so quick and painless I've been going back to her regularly ever since. And the facial left me feeling great and was so relaxing I fell asleep during it. Amy is wonderful, but the whole staff there is great and you feel completely pampered.

I took my bridesmaids, mother and mother-in-law to the Sugar House Day Spa in Alexandria, VA on the day of my wedding. We all recieved proper pampering with manicures and pedicures and the girls all had a different stylist for their wedding day hair. My bridesmaids were all so happy as the Sugar House offters, coffee, tea, lemonade and icewater as well as trail mix and on this day a shrimp platter and fruit platter. They were all very relaxed and were excited for their special day of pampering.

My services at SugarHouse Day Spa began months before with microderm abrasion treatments with Renee Spann and my wonderful hair stylist Neddy. We worked on the proper color tone, length and style, she is always a treat to share part of my day with. We have a lot of fun and she is very creative, my hair was better than I had envisioned for the day of my wedding and I have had friends who are getting married ask me for a photo so they can try to copy the same hair style. I truly felt beautiful and relaxed after a day of/months of pampering at the Spa. The setting at The Sugar House is so tranquil it will take you away from any stress and allow you to prepare for your biggest day!
