Kara is absolutely wonderful! We used her for our engagement and wedding photos. We eloped with a small wedding and she made it seamless. During the wedding, my bridal party forgot the bouquet at our Air BNB and she was willing to work around while they ran to get it. We had a few family restrictions and she was able to made our photos work beautifully. She pays close attention to detail and giving instructions to make the photos picture perfect. She also addressed us and our kids by name, instead of bride/groom, and made our day extremely personal. Kara gave suggestions and recommendations of other vendors, places to take photos, places to stay, and was a wonderful resource! She is a beautiful human and made our wedding day absolutely stunning!

We hired Stout Creative as our wedding photographer originally based on 2 factors: 1) they were well priced compared to others and 2) their work was beautiful. We could not have asked for a better photography team. Kara was our lead photographer and was a gem from the start. Calls were extremely organized and professional. There was the right balance of guiding us with her professional expertise yet also listening to our desires. The day of was seamless and calm. We are not big “photo” people, didn’t want super posed photos, and hadn’t had much experience with being professionally photographed. Kara and her support team (I believe named Eric and Nina) somehow made it actually enjoyable. We got a preview within days and our full album not long after. The photos are beautiful and we will cherish them forever. I am not familiar enough with photography to know the style terminology, but to me our photos are timeless, gorgeous, and perfectly capture our wedding in a realistic and amazing way.

I cannot praise Jess and Kara enough for their incredible vision and eye for capturing every moment possible. I’ve never really had my photos taken professionally before and find myself feeling awkward in front of cameras, but Jess made me feel soooo so natural and even more so like a rockstar and beautiful! I didn’t feel awkward at all with her and I had only met her in person the day of our wedding! That level of comfort demonstrates so highly of how talented, personal, professional and extremely engaging and creative Jess and Kara truly are. Jess was so spectacular assisting and aiding in the flow of the day and orchestrating the crowd and family photos. She’s very good at time management and making sure you get the most out of the day for all your photos while also making sure you are present and enjoying your day as organically as possible. What I really appreciated is how Jess and Kara blend in so naturally with the day and our families; they made it possible for us to be our authentic selves while they captured the moment and it was not a day where we felt we needed to pose over and over unless we desired to. Jess and Kara just shot my wedding in St. Augustine and they blew me away with their attention to detail throughout the entire planning process. They take the time to get to know your personality, your family, what kind of photos are important to you and the style of photography you prefer. Jess was my lead photographer and she was so organized and assisted throughout my entire planning process. On top of that, she is simply a good human and you can tell she genuinely cares about her work and about you. On the day of our wedding, Jess and Kara were a well oiled machine, with the photography timeline going exactly according to plan- they even saved us when a light drizzle hit at the end of the night with umbrellas and didn't let that stop them from capturing magic. I only have our sneak peek photos, since it was a couple days ago but I already know that we will cherish these pictures for life and they so effortlessly captured our big day. Truly the best.
