Gorgeous Florals!
Jess with Stout Creative took my notes for whimsical, minimalist florals & completely nailed the vision. They were exactly what I dreamed of & our guests couldn't stop complementing the arrangements! One look at the photos & you'll see what I mean. Highly recommend! -

Kara is a rockstar!
Kara is absolutely wonderful! We used her for our engagement and wedding photos. We eloped with a small wedding and she made it seamless. During the wedding, my bridal party forgot the bouquet at our Air BNB and she was willing to work around while they ran to get it. We had a few family restrictions and she was able to made our photos work beautifully. She pays close attention to detail and giving instructions to make the photos picture perfect. She also addressed us and our kids by name, instead of bride/groom, and made our day extremely personal. Kara gave suggestions and recommendations of other vendors, places to take photos, places to stay, and was a wonderful resource! She is a beautiful human and made our wedding day absolutely stunning! -

If you’re looking for a talented team that is also fun to work with, then Stout Photography is a great choice. Jess and Kara just shot my wedding in St. Augustine and they blew me away with their attention to detail throughout the entire planning process. They take the time to get to know your personality, your family, what kind of photos are important to you and the style of photography you prefer. Jess was my lead photographer and she was so organized and assisted throughout my entire planning process. On top of that, she is simply a good human and you can tell she genuinely cares about her work and about you. On the day of our wedding, Jess and Kara were a well oiled machine, with the photography timeline going exactly according to plan- they even saved us when a light drizzle hit at the end of the night with umbrellas and didn't let that stop them from capturing magic. I only have our sneak peek photos, since it was a couple days ago but I already know that we will cherish these pictures for life and they so effortlessly captured our big day. Truly the best. -

We chose Stout Studios and worked with Jessica and Kara for our wedding - and I am blown away by how amazing our photos are and how perfect the experience was. My husband hates taking pictures, and was dreading that portion of our wedding, but he said he enjoyed our first look and taking photos with our family and that's 100% due to how smooth and fun Jess made the experience.
They are incredibly talented photographers, and they blend in so seamlessly day of when everything is going on. And the photos speak for themselves. My family and I are so happy with how they turned out, and I just got my album in the mail, which I did through Stout, and it's stunning! And their pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quality of photos and the level of service they provide.
So so happy I chose Stout as our partner for the wedding. Can't recommend them enough! -

Kara and Jes were the best! It was SO hot on our wedding day, and all the events and pictures were held outside. Kara was efficient and organized even in the heat, and provided great direction to me, my husband, bridal party, and family. They were very professional and accommodating to last minute requests on the day-of, and worked hard to get great shots both staged and candid. We were so impressed with how the photos came out as well - we've only seen the preview so far, which included pictures from each stage of our wedding day, and we can't wait to see the rest. The photos were creative and fun and everything we hoped for and more! 11/10 recommend Stout Studios!! -

My husband and I got married at The Treasury in Saint Augustine January. We started looking for a photographer very early on in the wedding planning process. Our first communication with Stout Studios was with with Kara. She was awesome! She helped us pick the perfect package and got us very excited about the process. She is friendly, professional and informative. For our wedding day, I had Jessica and Diego. Wow!! They were organized, beyond creative and made it such a fun experience. We literally hit the jackpot! From finding the perfect lighting, to guiding our body posture, they did everything in their power to get the perfect pictures! I had some guests who had arrived early and saw some of our last photos being taken. They complimented how organized and amazing Jessica and Diego were! My family was also very impressed and everything ran very smoothly. We also ordered a wedding album and parent album from them! Those were a must because of how beautiful the selections are. We picked our images and in a matter of a few days Kara had the album proof ready for me to view! My husband and I will hold the memories of not only the photos but the whole process close to our heart. They contributed in making our wedding day perfect. I can’t wait for more milestones in our lives to use them again for photos! -

Weddings can be chaotic. However, Kara and Jes (her assistant) were very easy to work with, very calm, and very thorough. They arrived early and scouted the area for the best props, backgrounds, and lighting. Their artistry is beyond belief. When we saw Kara's initial set of pictures, approximately 1 week following the wedding, we were speechless! We hoped for the best photos to capture those special moments and received majestic pieces of art. I would definitely use Stout Photography again! -

AMAZING Wedding Photographer
I woud reccomend Stout Studios to anyone in the St. Augustine area looking for an AMAZING wedding photogrpaher. We used them for both engagement and wedding photos and from the first interaction, everything was fantastic. Both my husband and I are not what you would consider "naturals" in front of the camera but Jessica made us feel comfortable immediately during our engagement shoot. Our wedding day was a bit breezy to say the least (I even managed to lose my veil at one point), but they knew how badly I wanted most of the photos outdoors. They went out of their way to make it happen, even stopping traffic at one point to get a quick photo by the bridge. Book Stout Studios! You won't regret it :-). -

20/10 would recommend! Perfection
I truly could not have imagined more perfect pictures. I didn't know anything about photography, what kind of theme I was going for, etc. I've only had professional pictures taken once or twice before, and I'm a little awkward. They sent me a questionnaire a few weeks before the wedding and I am so glad they did! Take the time to fill it out and be as detailed as you can. They went above and beyond for me (even when it was VERY hot) and made me feel comfortable and confident. There wasn't a single shot where they weren't adjusting someone or making sure it was just right, and we all looked incredible. Even in the June heat, you cannot see a bead of sweat or a hair out of place. I had a cathedral length veil and it was perfectly placed in every, single frame. I've had people reach out to me that I haven't spoken to in years and say "Your pictures are amazing! It looks like a fairytale." Don't be afraid to be detailed, I promise Jessica and Kara will work with you and make your experience wonderful. On top of all of that, they are very responsive and patient. It was worth every single penny and I would do it 100 times over. These are something you will have forever (and you will look amazing forever!). 20/10 would recommend, and will be using them for any future events. -

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Stout Studios! Jessica was so wonderful to work with and did an amazing job with both our engagement photos, as well as our wedding! She was a pleasure to work with as well!! She did an excellent job giving us direction during both shoots as we aren’t the most comfortable in front of the camera and she made us look amazing! She was wonderful! She was very responsive to all calls, texts, and emails. On our wedding day, Kara worked with her to take the photos of the groom and groomsmen and to be a second shooter! We were thrilled to be working with both of them. It was a pleasure to get to know both Jessica and Kara and rely on them for such an important part of our big day! They are so talented. Could not ask for better wedding photographers!
Our wedding was at the Treasury on the Plaza on September 27, 2021. We chose Stout Studios after find their website. Both Kara and Jessica had amazing portfolios. We were lucky enough to have Jessica as our primary photographer and Kara as the secondary. They took the most beautiful photos of us and our wedding party. Their directions were efficient and concise and we had a blast taking photos with them. We could not ask for better photographers for our wedding. We've already recommended them to all of our friends and we can't wait to see all the other amazing photos they create with future couples. -

Stout studios did an unbelievable job capturing the most important moments of our special day! Jessica made sure to get everything we asked for and more. Everyone was extremely professional and they kept the flow of everything so that we were always on schedule but always had time for special moments! Jessica was also very accommodating towards what we could and couldn’t handle and what was most important to us. Special moments were captured and really just amazing shots show off how perfect everything went! If you don’t want to miss anything and you want some amazing dramatic or romantic shots, I cant emphasize enough how amazing Stout Studios is! Highly recommend!!! Our wedding album is so perfectly designed we couldn’t have chosen a better layout our selves! Plus the engagement shots were SO CUTE TOO!! I don't even know where to start with this review. Kara is absolutely amazing! When inquiring an estimate she attached a short questionnaire to get to know me and my now husband. She also wanted to schedule a video call (versus phone call) to get to know each other to begin to capture our personality. I thought it was very personable and knew she would be our photographer. That was just the start of our amazing experience. She is extremely quick to respond to emails and very professional. She helped create an outline for the timeline of the wedding. I love how she sent a questionnaire before the wedding about what you want and don't want photographed. On top of all this, she has an AMAZING personality! All I can say if she is available for your wedding date, BOOK HER! You won't regret it :) -

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Stout Photography (SP) during and leading up to our recent wedding. First of all, the engagement and wedding pictures are stunning. They have an eye for beauty and we didn't realize how beautiful our pictures would be until we got them back. We have received an overwhelming number of compliments on our photos from friends and family. SP took the time to determine what was important to us and exceeded expectations in capturing those moments and so much more. They were very professional and extremely responsive. We got married on June 6th, in the middle of the pandemic, and their flexibility and responsiveness were very much appreciated as we were dealing with various possible scenarios. They even proactively offered suggestions to make the most of the various scenarios we were working through. They were very easy and enjoyable to work with throughout the wedding day. They worked well with all of our other vendors and our entire family enjoyed working with them. We will absolutely be hiring them in the future whenever we are in need of professional photographers. -

Hire them! A+ work
Holy Cow! You can’t ask for better photographers for your big day! My husband and I are local to Orlando so getting married in St. Augustine we didn’t have much info on wedding photographers in the Jacksonville area. Our venue recommended Stout Studios and by booking them we literally hit the jackpot! Jess and Kara shot our wedding. They remained with the utmost professionalism with every obstacle thrown at them (Including disgruntled store owners). They were able to find the perfect lighting to make a good photo extraordinary! Sun, clouds, or rain (and trust me we experienced them all) they made me look beautiful and captured incredible shots. I can’t wait for more milestones in life to use them again for photos!!!! -

There are not enough words to describe what an absolute fantastic photographer Kara is. Kara has the best personality, and can pull the best out of anyone. Her talent is amazing. She was able to capture every single moment of my wedding & reception without me even knowing she was there. What I appreciate most about Kara is her attention to detail. She really takes her time to capture that perfect moment, and has the patience the capture that perfect shot. If you have a piece of hair out of place, don't worry, Kara will catch it!!
Kara’s creative ideas made it easy to find the perfect location with the perfect lighting. The family photos Kara took after the wedding were just beautiful. They could not have turned out any more perfect. During our engagement photo session, Kara made our experience so much fun captured breathtaking pictures.
I have people telling me all the time how beautiful my wedding photos are. I personally would have to agree. I have never had such an amazing experience with a photographer. I would truly recommend Kara a million times over. She has amazing talent and that is very hard to find. Kara met all of my expectations and then some. I highly recommend Kara!!

Morris Wedding 2017

Jessica was beyond amazing to work with. Exactly 5 years after our wedding, my husband and I go through ALL 1,003 pictures from our special day. Jessica was graceful and friendly throughout the entire experience. She asked great questions to get to know my now husband and I and our family dynamics. I felt like this was SO important since my husband's family is divorced and my family is GIANT with lots and lots of differences. I have been to a couple of weddings where the photographer was ALL up in the ceremony where you couldn't even see the couple getting married. I was worried about this, but Jessica and her wonderful assistant got so many perfect shots of our ceremony with being almost invisible. Jessica puts so much thought into her work and you can tell in the top quality of the photos that her heart is so into it! My favorite part was Jessica gave us EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. from our entire day. She put them in a super convenient drive for us. I could go on and on, but if you're even CONSIDERING hiring her, you just need to do it. You will be SO happy! -

If you are getting married within a radius of Jacksonville, look no further than Stout Studios! Jessica was incredibly professional, timely, and communicative. I did not have to think about photo opportunities throughout our wedding day, she just captured them. In an era of instant visual stimulation, Stout Studios gave us an initial preview within hours of our event, more photos after our honeymoon, and the final set within a few weeks. I also appreciated how she did not let "those" family members change the bride's photography plans without the bride's input. Stout Studies is one of a kind! -

Fabulous team!
I love looking at our wedding pictures over and over! Kara did a great job. We live in Atlanta, but got married in St. Augustine (a place we had only been to once or twice before the wedding). Kara found great spots for our pictures, and even made sure we could sneak out after our first dance to get the prime sunset lighting! Kara and her team put me at ease the whole time, and made our photo shoots so much fun! They also captured our reception fabulously - it looks like the most fun party. I do wish my sunburn lines (ugh) would have been photoshopped out of some of our couple photos, but it's something we can (hopefully) fix, and only on a small handful. Definitely recommend their team for gorgeous shots, and a fun time! -

Kara & Jess were absolutely amazing! I had the pleasure of meeting Kara earlier on in our engagement for our engagement photoshoot & she created the most beautiful portraits! Scroll through their photos and it’s a no brainer that Stout Studios has some seriously amazing talent! But what meant the world to me was their professionalism, organization, attention to detail and overall kind & friendly demeanor that just makes you want to hangout with them and get a drink after the shoot. My husband & I are awkward and not very good models… Kara has a way that just makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Her eye and attention to detail is just amazing and the way she poses you with such ease is truly a gift. Beyond Expectations
My husband and I booked Stout Studios for our destination night wedding in New Orleans. Jessica and her team were amazing! They created a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Once we secured the date we received a welcome package, which made us feel super special. Stout Studios did a great job seeking to understand what was important to my husband and I. The day of the wedding Jessica and her team made us feel comfortable and ensured specific memories were captured. Our wedding was on a Sunday night. By Tuesday morning I had a special sneak peek of our wedding photos, which brought tears to my eyes. Our photos are incredible! The entire album was available shortly after. We booked Stout Studios for our wedding in St. Augustine Florida for October 2019. Kara did our engagement photos in Savannah Ga where we live and they are incredible. Everyone we've shown has been so impressed with them and I can't stop looking at them myself:) I am so excited for our wedding, I know those photos will turn out amazing as well. Kara was so sweet and personable and such a pleasure to work with. We were a little nervous about posing for pictures, but all of our photos looked so natural and definitely showed our love for one another. I am beyond grateful. I would highly recommend Stout Studios, I think they are very reasonably priced for the high quality work they produce and Kara was so friendly and easy to work with and has even been helpful with identifying other vendors in the area since it will be a destination wedding for us. -

Kara and Jes from Stout Studios were absolutely amazing! I'm not sure I've ever met anyone more personable and enthusiastic about their profession than these two women. Kara was there for me throughout the planning process, answering any questions I had almost immediately and just checking in periodically. In fact, the entire process with Stout Studios is very stress free. The day of the wedding was even more so. They took all of the photos we requested but were also super unobtrusive. Within a week we had a sample of the photos they took and all of them were gorgeous. We also received all of the digital prints much sooner than expected. As a bonus, although they are based in Jacksonville, they are willing to travel. We can't be more happy with Stout Studios, and will definitely be considering them for our future photography needs. -

Mary Sent on 06/22/2018Ok all brides out there if you are stressing about finding the perfect photographer for your wedding stop looking because Jessica and her team are the professionals you are looking for! From the moment I met her at her home studio I knew I wanted to work with Jessica. The absolute beauty and quality of her photos speak for themselves but Jessica herself is what really sold me. She was so warm and welcoming and really listened to what I was looking for. I felt like I was talking to an old friend rather then a vendor. She made me feel like I was her top priority even though she has so many other clients. She always responded to my emails so quickly and is very organized and is a master at her craft. My husband and I are not really "photo people" to say the least, I really wanted a photographer who could make us look amazing and someone we were comfortable with. In front of the camera we had no idea how to pose or hit the perfect angles, but Jessica knows exactly how to capture that perfect genuine moment in your photos. On the wedding day I was a little anxious but the moment Jessica arrived I felt so relieved and relaxed. She was right on time and stuck to the timeline perfectly with even some extra time to spare :) Her and her team knew exactly what to and where to go to get the best photos in the shortest amount of time. It has been almost 3 months since our wedding and we are still looking back at our album and continue to get such beautiful comments from friends and family. The whole process was flawless with Jessica- the team was so organized from beginning to end, which really helped us because we were traveling from New York for our wedding. I cannot say enough about Jessica on the day of- she really knew how to get things done- even when it originally said 100% chance of rain! She made my husband and I feel at ease during our engagement shoot and we couldn't wait to have her document our wedding day. She is so nice and friendly and has that quality about her that makes you wish she was your best friend! She helped keep me relaxed on the wedding day and kept the flow of pictures going. When it comes to pricing, I feel like she almost doesn't charge enough for the quality of her work! Her pricing is very fair and compares to other photographers who don't have the same talent and eye for lighting that she does! Her images are magazine worthy. You seriously could not go wrong choosing Jess and her team! I would choose her over and over again if I could and recommend her to anyone that lives in FL!
