My wife and I had our wedding here back in November and we couldn’t have been happier with the venue. Food was great, location was beautiful, and service was exceptional. James, the maitre d’ was excellent. Definitely recommend!!

Stewart Manor is a hidden gem on Long Island, and John, James, and Lisa are amazing and wonderful!! They were generous with the menu and their time! The staff were professional and on top of everything! The food was delicious and plenty, from cocktail hour through to the after party!! There never seemed to be anyone ever standing around, they were always attending to someone or something. I would recommend Stewart Manor and crew to everyone! We had the best time!!

Me and my husband recently had our wedding on July 12th, 2025 at Stewart Manor Country Club. From the moment we walked in to tour the venue we were greeted with smiles and a very friendly staff. We were treated like family from the very beginning and were even made cocktails while we waited to tour! John, James, Lisa and Daniella are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Our wedding turned out so beautiful and I can’t thank them enough for everything they did to help our wedding come together. A very special shoutout to James the Maitre’d!! He is an absolute angel and perfectly executed my vision for what our wedding would look like! He went above and beyond learning all our family members and bridal parties names, bustling my dress and taking my veil out, helping my sister change out of her heels. He even came to the rescue when I realized last minute that I had no flower girl basket and he brought out a couple flower girl basket options he had stored away and went as far as plucking the petals of a bouquet of roses one by one so my niece had flowers to throw down the aisle. Our family and friends raved about how amazing the food was and how amazing the service was from everyone down to the waite staff, they were super attentive constantly asking if anyone needed anything. We could not have asked for a better day! We HIGHLY recommend having your next event at Stewart Manor Country Club you will not regret it and we will definitely be having future events here!

My fiancé and I have never been here before but once we walked in for our tour and meet with Lisa, John and James we knew immediately this was the PERFECT place for our wedding. They were all quick to respond, accommodating and so so kind to us and our parents throughout the entire process. We truly had such an amazing day from beginning to end. We absolutely loved the ceremony outside in their beautiful gazebo, the breathtaking venue/set up, the cocktail hour with many station/food options, the amazing wait staff, food and drinks. Our guest could not stop talking about how DELICIOUS the food was and how they all felt so taking care of throughout the night. James was unbelievably helpful…I would say almost magical..as he anticipated every need and was always there to solve any problems no matter how big or small. They made our wedding day so special and stress free !

I have been writing this review in my head since we booked Stewart Manor Country Club in 2023.

My husband and I got married June 15th and it was the most perfect summer day. As soon as I walked into SMCC, my heart rate stabilized and I could finally just smile and party. Book them, just do it!

My novel: after our initial appointment with Lisa, we walked out and were ready to book. Of course all the wedding blogs say to shop around etc. but every place we visited was underwhelming in comparison. Why? Because working with people who actually want to make your day special is PRICELESS. People like Lisa, John, James are not the norm, they care about you. They are beyond accommodating and patient. And, they didn’t make me feel like I was crazy, even though I was crazy lol. We were working closely with Lisa who is phenomenal. All of our questions and calls and emails were answered promptly. Better yet, every call was met with “how are you, how’s your job going, how’s your husband etc.” Lisa, you are a gem!!! John (the owner) is so down to earth, humble and kind. SMCC is like going to Sunday dinner with your very cool and high functioning parents.

And now for James. JAMES 👏🏻 is to die for. He is magical and exceptional at his job (and an exceptionally kind human being). Our guests were taken care of, the decor was on point, and the bride and groom…pampered. No coordinator needed when you have James or SMCC for that matter. Look, James just does everything and anything. Feed us, check. Bustle, no prob. Fix anything broken, no prob. Handle our crazy family, easy.

I just can’t stop smiling and my guests can’t stop raving about the service, the food, the everything. Again, just book them already.

John, Lisa, and James (and Dani!) are absolutely amazing at what they do. Not only do they have the ability to execute any ideas that you may have, they have a wealth of knowledge (and seemingly endless warehouse of decorations) that they are more than happy to share to make your wedding day absolutely perfect.

Leading up to our wedding, we gave James our general design plan and supplied decorations that we thought fit the theme (winter library), but otherwise gave little specific guidance on how to set up ceremony space or the various spaces within the venue (since we had neither the energy nor artistic eye to plan out those details). What James was able to put together for us was absolutely stunning and better than anything we could have imagined. In fact, we have had multiple guests describe the ambiance James was able to create for us as “stunning” and “magical.”

On the day of our wedding, my husband and I wanted for nothing. Indeed, without ever having to ask for anything, the team at SMCC anticipated our every need. James, in particular, had everything we never knew we needed within arms reach (including, among other things, fashion tape, a scrunchy, and bobby pins, all of which James kept stored in his fashion-forward utility vest), and did everything he possibly could (including holding the train of my dress outside in the rain while we were outside smoking) to ensure my husband and I were as comfortable as possible. We’ve heard from many guests that their experience with SMCC’s team was no less amazing.

Our guests all raved about the food, particularly the filet mignon and chicken francaise, and marveled at the table service for bar drinks (which seems all but unheard of these days). My husband happened to be partial to the spinach ravioli alfredo served with dinner, and I loved the mac & cheese included in the BBQ station and the buffalo chicken pizza included in the pizza station.

When my husband and I were choosing between wedding venues, many venues we looked at seemed to be nothing more than wedding factories. Almost every venue we visited or contacted focused their sales pitch on one thing: what services they could sell us from their catalogue of cookie-cutter wedding options. SMCC was different. In fact, after a long day of visiting venues, we realized that Lisa of SMCC was the only person we had met at any venue who bothered to ask my husband and I about our relationship and our interests—e.g., how we met, how my husband had proposed, what we did for a living, what we did for fun, and what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It was this human touch that made SMCC stand out among the sea of venue options. And it is this human touch that I believe makes the team at SMCC excel at what they do. Simply put, the SMCC team cares, which makes all the difference.

It’s been a little over a week since our wedding and we are still glowing with joy from such a perfect day. It’s cliche, but RUN don’t walk to book your wedding or event at Stewart Manor Country Club. Lisa, James and John are not only incessantly helpful, they make you feel like family and that they are throwing a wedding for one of their own. Up until the day, we must have called Lisa 900 times and she never got sick of us. From our first of the 900 calls to our last appointment for decor drop off, she made a nervous bride feel at ease. If you know me, that is not an easy task. She was our point person until the day of our wedding and crucial to making it the magical day it was.

Fast forward to wedding day. Every last detail was impeccable - from when I got there with grass stains on my dress and James tide penned it out to when I stayed at least a half an hour past our time with not one mention of it from the staff. My outdoor ceremony was breathtaking because they keep the grounds absolutely perfect. During cocktail hour, John watched as we happily greeted all of our guests but also was kind enough to make us heaping plates of all the food we had to offer our guests. Because of his attention and care we got to enjoy our cocktail hour to the utmost, which every bride knows is nearly impossible. The food itself is phenomenal - everything - but I’d die for their ravioli Alfredo. James is a mixology wizard and due to his creativity we had 2 signature drinks that our guests have not stopped talking about (mine was a margarita that changed colors)! We added as many personal touches as we could throughout the wedding. We had a unique seating chart that James had to set up without our input, signs candles frames lights flowers the whole shebang. Every single piece of decor was arranged exactly as I had envisioned in each space, with care and an artful eye.

The reception space is gorgeous and while it fits 150+ people, every second felt wonderfully intimate. The way it is set up allowed me to see and dance with all of my guests. The waitstaff took such excellent care of my guests and I was not in need for even one second. John James and Sandy made sure I always had a drink in my hand and food on my plate, and my husband even got a second filet mignon. He even went to refuse it, and was reminded that he was the man of the hour and could have anything he wanted. The staff treats you exactly how you want to be treated on your wedding day.

Without going into detail, I had a bit of family drama unfold and James saved the day with that as well. You are just in the best hands and the best company with SMCC. There are too many good things to say. I will be forever grateful for the incredible day and night these guys gave us. We will miss them, but we’ll see them for our baby shower and anniversary and any other excuse we have!!

Words cannot totally capture how special this place is or how much they did to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. From the moment we met James and John at our first visit, we know this place was where we wanted to get married. It was clear that they take a very personal approach to couples and will go above and beyond to help you create your dream wedding. We literally both left in tears, because we knew we found the venue that felt like home to us both. This only became more true throughout the planning process and on the day of. Our tasting was phenomenal, and getting to bring our parents made it so much more special (they even packed stuff up for my dad who was home with COVID). The day we dropped everything off James made me feel so comfortable and excited. I trusted him completely, and for good reason. He seriously knows what he is doing, and will make sure your day is perfect. The day of our wedding, I swear he knew I needed a glass of water before my brain could even recognize I was thirsty and appeared with my sneakers the second my feet had had enough of my heels.
Just another example of how this venue goes above and beyond for their brides. My table numbers did not fit into the wooden stands that they came with, which John told me during cocktail hour because I had never thought to even check. I was so happy and so in love with the day already that I said I was totally fine with whatever they put out, and I meant it. When we walked into the reception hall, all of my table numbers were out. They shaved down the slot in the wooden stands of each one during the cocktail hour to make my vision come to life. Truly unbelievable and so so special! From start to finish our day was perfect, and so much of that is thanks to everyone at SMCC!
