We chose to work with Steve for our wedding day after seeing his amazing work at a family member's wedding. Steve is an absolute pleasure to work with. He met with us on Zoom since we live out of state and really took the time to get to know our style and preferences for the wedding. We loved how natural his photography style is; he blended into the background throughout the wedding day and captured the natural energy and excitement of the day, which is exactly what we were looking for. Would recommend him to anyone!

We sought a photographer who wouldn't give us the "same old" — we'd seen a million wedding photographs from our friends and family and knew the tropes we wanted to avoid. We also wanted a photographer who would listen to our interests, get a sense of our preferences and personalities, and translate all of that into images. We were lucky to find all of that and more in Steve Rosenberg.

The photo set we received from our wedding captured our event perfectly. Steve's photography is fun, colorful, creative, surprising, and cool. One reason we wanted to work with Steve is that we wanted our photos to look candid and realistic, so we looked for someone who had a photojournalism background (which Steve does, having worked extensively for news organizations) but also an understanding of the unique task of wrangling wedding photos. That combination of skills definitely shines through in the results.

One of our favorite aspects of working with Steve is that he came to our apartment about a month before the wedding for a full, honest, but also informal and entertaining discussion of what we wanted to achieve with our wedding photos and any concerns we had. We had an opportunity to suggest shots we wanted to get or backgrounds we wanted to take advantage of, advise Steve of things we didn't want that we've seen in other people's photos, and give him a sense of who we are as people. Steve also took the time to scout our venue one day without us, which meant he arrived day-of with recommendations on photographs we could do that we hadn't suggested ourselves. We ended up with a solid mix of things we had envisioned and things we'd never have come up with that he identified and made happen for us.

Overall, this was a great experience, and I would absolutely recommend Steve to anyone in the region who is looking for an excellent and very fun wedding photographer!
