I absolutely adore shooting weddings, bridal and engagements and have done so for several years. I understand the importance of the day and take the job of shooting extremely seriously although I have a great time while doing it! I offer a variety of styles and retouching and work with other professionals to provide a wonderful and complete wedding experience and to capture the story of your big day.
I am self taught through my passion to create great work having originally focused on fashion photography. I use the skills and talents I developed shooting high fashion work as well as runway to take your images to the next level. I want my images to be amazing and to keep inspiring you and your loved one throughout the years ahead!

My pricing is very competitive right now as I am looking to build additional volume. In order to bring costs down BUT at the same time ensure great coverage, I have often brought in the second shooter just for a couple of hours to ensure that the ceremony is completely covered. I can't stress how important it is to have two photographers cover that time period. It is physically impossible for one person to cover the wedding of even a medium sized ceremony fully (and without having to run all over the place during it trying to cover the different angles).

Sterling was my wedding photographer for my wedding at the arboretum two years ago and we also did bridal portraits before the actual day. He is AMAZING. I'm probably the least photogenic person you'll meet and somehow he was able to take beautiful photos. For the portraits, he was able to make me comfortable and had great suggestions on poses and location etc. Also, both the posed and the candid photos at the wedding were amazing . He had a couple people helping him at the wedding and they were very unobtrusive, but also managed to perfect photos of all the great moments. If you're thinking about working with Sterling, do it! You definitely won't regret it. I still smile every time I see the wedding photos and feel like I'm there.
Oh and I lost all my photos because my laptop broke and Sterling sent them to me within a day even though it'd be two years :) :) absolutely the best!

Sterling and his team shot our rehearsal dinner and wedding in January and did a phenomenal job! He was great at communicating before the events and understood exactly what we wanted so that we could just enjoy our wedding without having to worry about if he was getting the right shots. Sterling had some photos for us to preview just days after the event and we were able to get all of the images (thousands!!) shortly after we got back from our honeymoon. The quality of his work exceeded any expectations we had. And he's very reasonably priced. Could not recommend Sterling more!

I have worked with sterling before on multiple occasions so it was a no brainer to use him for our wedding. He was truly professional and made sure to incorporate what I wanted as well as get shots he though would look good. He did a great job catching every moment evens things i never would of thought up. Would definitely recommend him for any pf your photo needs

Sterling was very professional and got some amazing shots!!! He brought along two other photographers to make sure that they didn't miss anything. It's almost easier to sit back and let Sterling guide you because his eye is incredible and he knows what he is doing! You won't be disappointed. I had several guests ask me after the wedding who my photographer was because they had enjoyed his personality and they, too, felt that he and his co-photographers had done a wonderful job.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sterling Steves, who i believe to not only be an extremely talented photographer (a pleasure to watch as he finds the perfect light and perfect shots) but really a true artist. There is an obvious reason he does fashion and commercial work; just look at his work on the website or on his facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/sterlingsteves) but it is a blessing to all of us that he is still enjoys and is willing to do weddings and other special occasions when he is available. If you are looking for mediocre, he is not for you. If you are OK with i-phone pics, you are missing out. He can pretty much make anyone look amazing.
