I can't even begin to express how wonderful Stephanie Adkins is! I am so picky about photographs, and I searched high and low to find the right fit for my wedding. When I found Stephanie and looked at her website, I was immediately in love! She made the entire booking process so seamless, and when we decided to add on additional time, it was no problem for her. She was there for every important moment - from getting ready to arriving at our venue to our sendoff. I couldn't be more in love with the photos Stephanie took, and I couldn't be happier with her professionalism. All I have to say is.. BOOK HER!!!

This review is long overdue - I’m not quite sure how to genuinely express online how amazing Stephanie was throughout the entire process but I’m going to try. For starters, if you’ve been looking for a photographer for a bit or just started, this is the photographer for you. Hands down. She was so responsive and answered every single question I had. She called me a few days before the wedding to pretty much tell me it was all going to be alright and it was thanks to her! She was professional, but at the same time was whatever I needed her to be in the moment. She went from photographer, to mom figure, to safe confidant all in a day.
When we received our photos, my husband and I just sat there jaw dropped, laughing and crying at how beautifully amazing they were. Her attention to detail and the little moments that happen so fast is what really made us say that Stephanie is an above and beyond photographer. Also, if she can make me look good dancing my ass off then I’m pretty sure she can do anything! Thank you again for everything!

I can't say enough about Stephanie on our wedding day. We hadn't met in person yet but it honestly didn't matter, it was so easy and enjoyable to work with her. She made us feel comfortable and knew how to encourage us & make us laugh. There's so much going on and Stephanie has a knack for taking control (in a super pleasant way) to make sure she gets the shots. I also couldn't believe how quickly I received photos - and they are stunning! She captured the feeling of our wedding perfectly and the photos take me back to those moments. Stephanie is truly a professional that I would recommend to anyone for any photos! Thank you Stephanie!

I found Stephanie on Weddingwire.com, and didn't know anyone who had ever used her before, but was so drawn to her beautiful pictures online that we asked her to be our wedding photographer (engagement pics, bridal portraits, and wedding) and BOY are we so glad we did!!! At the time of our engagement shoot, we were new to the Charleston area and had so much fun strolling around the city with Stephanie. It really felt like more of a tour with an old friend, than an engagement shoot! Bridal portraits were the exact same, and Stephanie went above and beyond to not only drive me around the city, but to cover her car so I wouldn't get my dress dirty. AND got us pictures within 24 hours to ensure that we would have a canvas in time for the wedding!!!! I truly felt like we spent more time with her at the wedding than anyone else. She literally drove my husband and I from the church to the reception, ensured my hair comb (that fell out) and marriage license got into the right hands, and graciously helped me try to quickly get all pictures done of our large family with very limited daylight. She is seriously the best, and I am so thankful to have met her and to have gotten to know her. Do yourself a favor, and make sure she is available before you book your wedding venue/date!!!!!!

She made us feel completely comfortable and took all of the effort out of trying to decide what photos to take and when. She swooped us up when we had a lull in the reception (in between meal courses) and got us to take pictures with friends and family we didn't get to earlier. The guests commented on how great she seemed, always snapping photos throughout the night to catch candid photos! We are so excited to see how they turn out, we know they will be amazing!

We cannot thank Stephanie enough for capturing the most perfect photos on our wedding day! Truly. They are absolutely stunning and her eye is so unique. I remember choosing her because her photos brought tears to my eyes and I thought that is exactly what you want in a wedding photographer. I know that sounds corny, but it's true. She captures emotion you can really feel and that is something we now have for ourselves - photos that capture the emotion on our wedding day. We have gotten countless compliments on our photos and we love how perfectly she captured the day. On top of the wonderful photos, we were all blown away by Stephanie. She made the day about us and being present and not about taking photos. Again, that's exactly what we wanted and we ended up with the most amazing photos because of it. We are so thankful for that.

From the very beginning, Stephanie was amazing to work with. She was willing to work with our budget and super flexible when it came to last minute changes. Not to mention, her work is beautiful! She made everyone feel at ease and comfortable during the big day. And we are forever grateful for her work. I would recommend this gem to anyone!!

First and foremost, Stephanie stood from other photographers before I even contacted her. When you go to contact her through her website, she asks you to tell her all about your love story. All the "sappy goodness." It was then that I knew this was going to be a great fit. Joe and I are not the ones to show our affection publicly, so we were a bit nervous about our wedding photos. I can't tell you how easy Stephanie and her second shooter, Mel, made things! I mean, to the point where I could completely see myself as new best friends with Stephanie! She was seriously so easy, efficient, and amazing to work with. We were so comfortable and had full confidence that they got some amazing photos of our wedding day. Our family and bridal party commented on how wonderful Stephanie and Mel were. They couldn't have missed a thing on our wedding day. They blew us away with their dedication to us. We just got our sneak peek and I'm already so excited to see the rest! They are amazing! Do not think twice about choosing Stephanie!

Stephanie was the FIRST wedding vendor I reached out to after I got engaged, as I have worked with her before through work, and she is the absolute best photographer we have ever worked with! She responded immediately and the entire process of communicating and booking with her was seamless!
One of the MAIN reasons I went with Stephanie for my wedding is the way she makes you feel when you are shooting with her! Trust me - you will feel absolutely beautiful and confident with her! She has such a comforting and effortless style of shooting! If you are nervous on your wedding day, I can assure you her cool, calm, and thoughtful demeanor will be such a blessing on your wedding day!
Now, onto the photos! WOW - I can't even explain in words how beautiful her photos are! When we got the sneak peak back (after only 7 days!), my mother-in-law joked that she needed one of those digital frames that swipes through photos as there were too many favorites to choose from for framing, and I agree! I still can't pick a favorite, several weeks later, and I've only ;) gone through them a million times!! Everyone I show the photos to comments on how beautiful every shot is! I can't wait to work with Stephanie again in the future, and I would recommend her x 1,000 to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!
