Daniel & Lindsay were the best to work with. We had our engagement photos and wedding photos with Stark Photography. Everything turned out amazing. They adapted to unforeseen challenges with grace and thoughtfulness. The images themselves were more than I could have hoped for. We had a large forest fairytale wedding and they didn’t miss a moment of the day. I’m so grateful for these wonderful images.

Dan and Lindsay are the best people you could know. They were easy to get to know and be ourselves around them. Dan photographed our wedding and engagement session. We were in awe of the way he captured our love and experience. Our photographs have movement and communicate the true feeling of the day. There are also so many jewels of new perspective or inclusion of details that you could only get with Daniel's vision. They were flexible, understanding, kind, and thoughtful every step of the way.

We've used Stark Photography for our engagement and wedding photos. We were so happy with our experience that we keep coming back for more photos, now with our daughter too! They are incredibly professional and skilled, their photos are a treasure in our house and are so beautiful I wish we could have a coffee table book of them! (we have a book but I definitely don't want to leave it on our coffee table!) They made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera and captured so many hidden moments (like my cousin dropping it low with a beer in each hand) that I am so grateful we booked them.

Hiring Lindsay and Daniel Stark was the best decision we made for our wedding, aside from saying "I do." The Starks are everything you could want for a wedding photographer. They are so kind and fun to work with, and their photography is stunning. Their creativity shines through in each and every shot. I knew I wanted to meet with them as a potential vendor when I saw their online portfolio; I knew immediately that I wanted them as our wedding photographer after meeting Daniel in a cute little cafe in North Portland and felt an instant connection. They are both warm, genuine individuals who care about what you want for your wedding photos and making it possible. They have different packages depending on what you're looking for, whether it's one or two photographers (Lindsay and Daniel can work together or separate); or different packages based on the number of hours you need. They also did our engagement photos, which even though it rained on our outdoor shoot in Mt. Tabor park, the photos still perfectly captured the essence of our relationship and were everything we hoped for. And they travel too! I truly cannot recommend Stark Photography more. You will not regret meeting with them or hiring them. They are exceptional and well worth it.

I cannot rave enough about Daniel Stark. Not only is he extremely talented he is so wonderfully positive to be around and so fun to shoot with. During the wedding planning I worked with a few different photographers for engagement shoots, bridal shower ect and because Stark Photography is located in Oregon and I’m in California I could only use them for my Wedding Day (the most important day). And all I can say is what a difference it was (in a good way) working with Daniel. This man will do anything to get the perfect shot, even lay in the middle of a dirt road, climb walls, you name it he did it! He hung out with my bridal party as we were getting ready and we all just adored him! Since I had a small wedding (60 guests) I didn’t need to hire his wife Lindsay as well but I coresponded with her for a year and she’s so wonderful too! Very kind hearted and she truly listened to all of the important photographs I wanted. You can’t go wrong with Lindsay & Daniel Stark!

I wanted to wait until the photos came out before posting a review on Stark photography. Working with them for our engagement & wedding was an amazing experience in itself but of course we are paying them for the pictures. I am glad that I waited to write this review because I feel totally justified to rave on about how amazing they are. My husband & I chose our photographers first when we got engaged because we both agreed that in the end that's all you have left. We were told that you wont remember your wedding day because of all the craziness that goes on so we wanted to hire a photographer that could capture the moments that we would miss. I loved going through the photos they took, because I honestly don't remember my own wedding and from the photos, it looked like everyone had a blast.
You will get your normal family photos & wedding photos that looks amazing (like off the magazine amazing) but addition to that they will capture emotions of your guests on that day which is pretty awesome to look through.
BTW you get both Lindsay & Daniel for engagement & wedding session so you are technically getting two professional photographers for the price of one & they work amazingly well together (I guess it helps that they are married).
Our wedding party had a blast with them not only during the picture taking time but dancing as well (don't worry, while Daniel dances, Lindsey is working hard capturing those moments ). We didn't feel like we had two photographers at our wedding but two friends. They were part of the wedding just as much as the wedding party was.

Daniel & Lindsey are AS GOOD AS IT GETS in the wedding photography category. We were so lucky to have them capturing our day and didn't have to worry about a thing. When we received our more than 650 photos, my husband and I bothLOVED every single one. It was also extra special to receive a slide show accompanied by music to share with our friends and family, a unique touch that really brought back the emotions of the day. They have a unique talent for making people feel comfortable and for blending into the event, capturing unique moments and details without being intrusive. The editing style is very artistic and romantic. Their ability to capture all the indoor moments of our relatively dark reception space and wide shots of our ceremony space without losing quality was also amazing.

Their photos really told our wedding day story and captured all the emotion of the day in such an effective way, better than a video could. They are both very intuitive and really captured the personality of every single guest in the photos.

Bar none, their work is the most beautiful I have ever seen. We have no idea how they get these beautiful colors, angles and reflections, we just know we love it and you will too!!

Daniel and Lindsay – we don’t know where to start. I knew from the moment I saw your pictures online that I had to have you as our photographers. Your vision and creativity with your photos are outstanding and even though it is six months after the wedding, I cannot stop looking at them. You both were so gracious, professional and organized, and you didn’t miss a thing! Everyone who has seen the photos cannot stop commenting on how beautiful they turned out. Thank you for giving us the memories that we will cherish forever.

We had first met with another photographer and when we left it was only about the business and money and left Dan and I feeling very empty. THEN Dan and I met with Daniel Stark...We BOTH walked out of the coffee shop and said "He's our guy!" From the moment we met him he was a perfect fit! We instantly fell in love with him. He is so thoughtful and really made us feel like he cared about us and our journey. He loves what he does and it truely shows! His work is amazing!!!
His wife Lindsay...she is so amazing as well. I have never seen a husband & wife duo that work so well together and have so much fun!
You guys both were SO wonderful to work with and kept a certain calm to the day of the wedding when things tended to get busy.

Daniel is an incredible guy and an amazing photographer! We will always cherish the perfect photos he captured of our wedding.
