Formerly the Grand Union Hotel, this historic site has been a focal point of the community since 1876 and a setting for some truly incredible stories. The museum's dedicated and passionate volunteers feel that nothing should get in the way of true love, and they can't wait to make your wedding celebration an event for the ages.

Facilities and Capacity

The Stagecoach Inn Museum hosts outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions and can accommodate a variety of party sizes. The property offers a choice of beautiful event spaces. You can say your vows on the Grand Porch or use the Carriage House to create the perfect backdrop. The porch of the Newbury Pioneer House is ideal for cozy, intimate gatherings. Anderson Hall is also available for use as a get-ready room. Whatever you decide, you'll have the freedom and flexibility you need to design the wedding of your dreams. The possibilities are limitless, and as an added feature, you and your loved ones can enjoy an informal tour led by the museum's costumed docents.

Services Offered

The Stagecoach Inn Museum's site fee grants you morning to late evening access to the property on your wedding day and includes day-before and day-after set-up and teardown time. The museum has lawn lights and five Victorian lamp posts that you're welcome to use. Tents and canopies are permitted, and you may bring in any wedding planner, caterer, musician, and DJ you choose. All vendors will be required to show proof of a valid business license. Your wedding fee supports the Stagecoach Inn Museum and will help keep it open for future generations to enjoy.

This was exactly what I was looking for in a venue. The thing I loved is that we got to decorate and set up however we wanted. Carol, the wedding coordinator, shared that each wedding they have had has been different. She was amazing to work with - extremely helpful and responsive. I asked her a million questions and she always cheerfully and promptly responded.

Our guests loved the property and the history. The inside is a museum and guests are welcome to tour it.

The venue was very affordable and fit nicely into our budget. I loved having my wedding here!

The location was beautiful and when it rained on us they helped us move the wedding inside and saved my day! They are all so helpful and caring everyone had a smile and was willing to help in what ever way they could. I could not have asked for a better place to get married!

Not only do you get to use the grounds for your event, you also get to have docents who give tours and information regarding the museum and the local area. This was a great activity for our guests to do while we were getting our pictures done.

They also let you decorate however you want, with the exception of holes in the actual building. And Carol (the coordinator) is the sweetest, most responsive lady ever. She is exceptional at answering any questions and will meet you whenver you want.

The only thing, is that the grass was not mowed for our event, luckily the tables and chairs covered that.

Also another bonus--they have 12 6ft tables and 2 8fts for your use, as well as a number of canopies--white and dark blue.

Great Place for a dinner party/thematic event.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.
